Nice video my guy, and love the perf blue FoST (I have one too). One recommendation I have for you is to swap out that Cobb shift plate for a JBR. I had the Cobb one for about 10k miles and the bolt where the shift linkage connects to the shift plate sheared off while I was shifting. The JBR one is just much higher quality (and thicker). Otherwise I absolutely love yours and what you have done with it (especially the wheels and the ST logos)

Those charge air temps tho. I recommend an Intercooler and a rear motor mount tbh. Major improvements.

Just Subscribed I have been just sitting on my Focus ST for some time now after doing some upgrades 3 years ago . I just stumbled upon this site and clicked on it just to take a peek at what others are doing , this guy thinks SO much like I do and I absolutely want to do some of the EXACT things he has done . He has schooled me on his intake mods the exposed air cleaner I liked and copy ! The short shift device is new to me and I will copy . The Drone elimination is also a must for me and I have installed the OBX Catted down pipe , it is the best ! You can not buy it from OR ship to California so I bought one and shipped it to my Dads house in Colorado and then he mailed it to me ! I purchased the Flow Master exhaust (FM) quiet until you really step on it ! It looks SO good that it’s a damn shame that everyone can’t see it ! I also left the sound imposer intact . The “soft motor diaper “ has been retained but now is attached with strong Velcro points instead of the screws , access holes have been cut to the oil change bolt that has a drain valve built into it ! Another access hole is there for the oil filter. The diaper also saves the motor from the Big and quick engine temp cycle that occurs every time you drive the car and every time you shock the hot engine from rain splash. I Now have a “Quick Jack” that gets used on all my cars but stays underneath the ST for quick and easy access underneath ! I hope all of the other people on this site will put down their experiences so we can educate each other !

I've had a lot of mods, all under the skin (invisible essentially) because I like the looks of the car, and don't want it looking all boyracery 🙂: 1) rear motor mount 2) stage 2 air induction/ intake (Airtec) 3) stage 3 intercooler and full alloy big bore pipe work (fits the same real estate space as the old one, but is very fat and very efficient. Does not overlap the radiator) 4) Focus RS clutch and dual mass flywheel (copes with higher torque levels than the ST set up) 5) M-factory mechnical helical geared limited slip diff (amazing effect on traction, handling and dialling out a lot of the car's natural torque steer) 6) Turbosmart re-circulating valve (didn't want a blow off valve sounding like airbrakes on a truck or bus, so this one kinda flutters, but is far more robust than the stock valve) 7) PumaSpeed MAXD-OUT 280+ ECU remap (dynoed at 289bhp) 8) Milltek Sport 3 inch fully resonated catback exhaust with titanium tips Last to go, in February: 1) 3 inch sports cat downpipe 2) Stage 2 ECU remap. Goal is just over 300bhp At some point (when I can afford it) I will get better 4 or 6 cylinder brakes. Don't want to compromise the ride anymore: suspension is firm enough as it is

Awesome looking Focus ST, I have a 14 Fiesta ST Silver with gloss black wheels and trim, the very first thing I did was change that ugly ass antenna, and put a stubby one on it. I have 96,000+ miles on it and I’m on my 6th set of tires. It’s on a Cobb stage two with short shift kit, 3” MBPR exhaust and sticky Mitchell’s, I beat the crap out of it, my friends can’t believe I still have my stock clutch. I’ve had 15 cars & 9 motorcycles in my life and this is most fun I’ve ever had, and I’m 73 years young. The Fiesta Flash. 🤙🏼🍺🍺

Other than the obvious front intercooler and motor mount upgrades, my favorite, which would look sick on your car, is a rear wiper delete. Rear wipers are so ugly, and if you wax your car at all, you don't need the rear wiper IMO.

@BVDV632 жыл бұрын
@@BenLovrien sure, but not because they are ceramic...
@BenLovrien2 жыл бұрын
Here this is copied from google: The squealing of ceramic brakes is common among many vehicles. The reason ceramic brakes squeal is that the back of the brake pad vibrates against the caliper assembly. This vibration causes the squealing. Non ceramic pads don’t squeak

Lol, no gain, it's lower now, you have to be pussyfoot around, hit nothing larger than a small crack and no better handling..... Shit....At least get coil overs(adjustables) so if you're going to sacrifice ride height at least it'll handle better.
