I had a 2015 Focus ST2 (same color), I brought it in 2015, brand new. I kept it for about 6.5 years/93K miles. I did not modify a single thing on it, cause I liked it the way it was. It is recommended to use, which I did, 91 or higher octane fuel (not required). I traded in for another vehicle in 2022 and got $15K in trade-in value (because it was a clean, fully stock vehicle)

Can someone please help me tell him he needs a 93 octane Tune, or if he's serious an e85 tune. Also their are many high quality turbo or supercharger kits that will make this BRZ a 4 second 0-60 at low boost. Thank you. Also if you really want improve 0-60 times you could do some more weight reduction like carbon fiber trunk, hood and doors and a lightweight race battery. With E85 Tune I'm thinking 0-60 in 5.3 seconds or with forced induction Turbo or supercharger on low boost 4.9 seconds. and for 0-60 times when you launch in first gear you need hold rpm at around 4000 when you release the clutch. Do this after the tires are warmed up. I owned B series Hondas and mazdaspeeds when I was a teenager and I now have kids and had to get a Forced Induction SUV for practicality so I bought a 7 Seat Subaru Ascent powered my WRX FA24 and I'm getting 6.8 0-60 at sea level on heavy ass 20 inch wheels. Anyway if your going to install a turbo or super charger and you want to be on the safe side spend a little money you getting some forged pistons and connecting rods installed first. The transmission might need some strengthening as well if you want to run more than 7 PSI of boost and remain reliable. Before worrying about your 0-60 times check how high you are above sea level. Higher altitude means worse performance and that you NEED BOOST. BRZ is an excellent platform to add Boost as that car can out handle most cars on the road and its so lightweight its easy to slow down its like a Poor mans LOTUS absolutely LOVE THE BRZ might pick one up for when I'm not with the family. Other option is trade in your BRZ at the dealership or sell it privately and pickup a FA24 WRX and then get a COBB accessport and your the BOSS. Subaru, Toyota, and BMW for life boys. Shout out the B series and K series Hondas and MAZDASPEED

One thing I don't really understand is why any of us buy affordable vehicles and then spend tons of money to get them to a place we want to be when we could buy a more expensive vehicle that is already there.

If you want a cheap catted downpipe, Hit up Raffi at FSWerks. He makes them for around 450, also the AWE Touring edition actually has more drone than the Track, dunno why, it just does... I also noticed you did not list a front mount intercooler. That NEEDS to be your next mod or you ARE going to blow the engine. You need to lower your boost temps with that AP tune.

A little late to the party. I used to own a 2012 Ford Focus hatch, Titanium model. It had the horrible dry clutch transmission. It was the crankiest, most obnoxious transmission I had ever experienced. I suffered through that experience for over 100k miles. After I felt I got my money's worth of that car, I finally sold it. I remember being so pissed when around 2013, Ford came out with the Focus ST. Hope you are still enjoying the ST! It looks like a pretty sweet ride.
