Connor Bunce I played through the level on Legendary and through half the level I was just standing there watching both sides murder each other. Towards the end of the level Cortana even says "you might consider sitting this one out." So yeah, he was kind of a spectator.

This is without question the best level in the entire Halo main series. It has literally everything you want in a Halo level and cranked up to the most badass setting possible: -Story -Gameplay -Different ways to approach fights throughout the level -Fun environments -Opportunities to take out certain enemies first if desired -Challenging -Music especially! Completing this level on legendary was especially meaningful for me, and makes you feel like an absolute badass upon completion, which I can now do consistently within about 50 minutes as opposed to 3 hours on my first go around! PS- I don’t care to play using the anniversary graphics, too bright for me personally and takes away the grittiness for me at least. Shoutout to HokieBird for the noobs guide to legendary back then!

I would run up to the silver elites and make them go berserk so they pull out their energy swords, kill all the brutes so the last elites enter the room, and then face all of them with my own energy sword one by one. Almost impossible to beat when done on legendary.

Gravemind is my favorite level in Halo 2. It is a stunning level because of the brutes, but it is an easy level if the difficulty is easy. But if you chose the difficulty legendary then you will die most of the time.

matei2903 most levels when you’re the chief you just need a plasma pistol and a Battle Rifle or Carbine, then you’re basically good when it comes to killing elites (or other shielded enemies)
