I got the chance to stay in Chongqing for about a week or so back in 2013 - also my first time ever in China! My mind was completely blown by how incredible and insanely huge the city was, and just the sheer scale of everything there (and it looks like it's only grown even more since I was there!) - but I was equally as mindblown that virtually nobody had ever even heard of it back home! So glad people are finally starting to realise its existence and see just how awesome it is. Thanks for the great video, made me nostalgic and brought back some really fun memories for me - the hot pot, indoor markets, walking through the streets and looking at the seemingly endless amounts of tall buildings, and the super warm and welcoming people we met there (like Michael!). :)

As someone from Chongqing and living now in France, in 2017 I took a train from Glasgow back to London and chatted with two British teenagers sitting next me. They told me that they just saw some crazy video of a Chinese city where subway goes inside a building on Tiktok and I told them that's where im from lol. And I do have several french friends who know the city as well so...What you show in the video is just so normal for someone like me growing up in Chongqing, and the city is like this since a long time ago and it's interesting to see that ONLY NOW people from the rest of China and even from other countries starting to know the existence of Chongqing.
