Elton Would be proud of this similar verson, as he does it, but would applaud your own dashes of flavor to the Soup. Good on ya!
@thefront5871 Жыл бұрын
Elton has stated many times over the years that he does not like people who copycat his songs that sounds just like him! He much prefer to see someone with originality and personalize his songs rather than to see someone who plays exactly like himself.
@eugenegress5896 Жыл бұрын
@thefront5871 Probably True, but It is a sincere form of Flattery. I think as Long as you are just making it fun, and not entering into the Wrong Mentality; Worshipping, Idolizing the Person, your Just Learning a New skill, enjoying ,mastering a Piece of Music , by a Talented person.
@joeyquinn74292 күн бұрын
@@thefront5871 I don't think he minds, or even admires, "copying" a version he probably didn't even know he was going to do, until he did it live. I doubt EJ even remembers how he played any song at a particular venue, since he RARELY plays a song the same way twice.....these days. You can tell, he's just having fun every time he plays live. The eternal showman.

What I ove about this pianists "covers" is that he's not farting around with trying to incorporate the lyrics. This makes some of the covers sound unusual at first because your brain is waiting for the lyric "notes" to kick in, but they don't and it's awesome.

Hello. You really capture Elton's style. Please could you let me know what piano sound you use. I love how bright and jangly it sounds, just Elton's piano! Thank you 💖
@fergusmcilveen23734 жыл бұрын
He uses the Roland FP Series sound. He EQs the brightness of the piano by going on the Roland piano partner 2 app, and bumping it up there. But I think there is a dedicated button for that on the model “FP-4” (the piano model he has). I have the “FP-10” which is like the beginner piano in the FP series (it has much less buttons - so I don’t know what the buttons on the FP-4 are/do so I can’t confirm). Hope that helps 😂
