I don't think Oberheim is/was actually a musician, just an inventor.

@@chieftp I dont know the specifics of synthesizer engineering. Oberheim managed to make VERY pleasing sounding instruments. I dont know how much is some specific idea about electricity that proved pleasing, or if he calibrated and calibrated and trusted his ear, and went with the circuit that gave the best results.
