After the first chorus hit it took me out of the song entirely. I thought maybe I was missing something. So glad I watched this video cuz I was so far out I couldn't focus on that Wayne verse. Wayne got a lot of strengths but consistency not one of em….literally his biggest criticism at the time was he prioritizedw quantity over quality. I mean MAYBE for a mainstream artist (which I don’t even factor - I judge everyone the same) but almost every project is littered with bad bars, watered down songs, and lazy writing. Even on Carter 3 which is pretty good you got joints like phone home and got money that aren’t good. None of the singles were particularly good - a millie is propped up by a catchy hook but he got lines like “I’m a venereal disease like a menstral bleed” and joints like lollipop and ms officer are propped up by catchy hooks. Plenty elementary punching and several instances of extremely basic, 1 syllable, aabb rhyme schemes. Don’t get me wrong - I l think Carter 3 is his pretty good…his best full length project behind Carter 2…but it ain’t cus it’s consistent. If you can listen to that straight through in 2023 - more power to you - but I certainly wouldn’t.

Benny has been struggling dude....his flow was kinda monotonous, he wasn't really with the rhyme schemes like he usually is, and that chorus was straight booty. If that's the case, he might be redoing some things which I aint mad at given Griselda has had a bunch of disappointing releases this year. Yeah hook aint good and I don't get why it made it because benny is normally fine at choruses. @BSideRapReviews As far as Mickey goes, his last two joints are both fire and produced by Griselda producers. Sadhugold prod Death Threats and Camouflage Monk prod Capital Gains. Both stay in my rotation. As for Raz, he has a whole series called Magneto was Right but there are 9 of them. I would start with 1 and if you like it, work your way forward. He's pretty versatile as an MC.
