I'd understand if a primary reason for this mod was to remove the keypad floor selection system this may have had, but wouldn't replacing the COP be a better option? That's what we do in Australia.

I like how blue the inside of the car is. That is very unusual with the use of micro USB. I wonder what all that is? I just spotted the LED strips round the cabinet, then you switched them on. 🙂

This is so outdated, they should have at least used USB type C cables for that box. The generic engineers would no longer have to deal with the difficult task of plugging in the micro USB cables the right way round.

This mod is very bog standard. Especially the interior but the Lester Controls touch screen is quite nice

Welp, good bye Schindler. I mean, it still has the old motor and now it has full intelligent levelling. But for real, the acceleration and deceleration is utterly slow.

Nice looking UI on that engineers screen, actually looks well designed (i.e. user friendly) but strange that they used micro USB connectors. Micro USB is one of the worst connectors in history, their tiny, fragaile and non-reversable. What wrong with good old DB9 or DB25? It looks like that a single jank on those cables the tiny micro USB connector breaks off the board. My Nikon Camera’s micro USB is a bit loosy goosy. Micro USB, it doesn’t look very industrial grade to me. It looks kind of cheap....

Hmm, I agree. I would have gone with something super durable like a RJ-45, I mean, It's running an "OS" anyways so why not connect using some Local IP network?

My college has a Schindler smart (I have a feeling it may end up getting replaced at somepoint cos sometimes the doors won’t close unless you press door close
