I got the Floatride 2 last year, one of the best all-round runners I've had! It's like they are using them to test technologies, before they put them into their more expensive brands.

yeah I agree. I got a veteran pair with 650 trail/work! miles. These shoes are great and the soles still feel like the first time I put them on. I found another pair about 2 months ago for $60 so I grabbed them on ebay. Then just last week I bought a pair of the new version 3. Never bought so many shoes in my life! So far I can't really tell the difference between V2 and V3. But time will tell especially interested to see if the outsole is any more durable because I'm really hard on my shoes especially considering that I've been using them at work. My oldest pair has holes on the sides of both shoes now and looks punished. But the holes don't breach to the inside yet. LOL I will retire them at 700 miles maybe. Even if I think they could make it to 1000.

Just went for my first run (10 miles) in this shoe and have to say it is so comfortable to run it. Was having issues with my NB 1080's causing pain in my left foot and these Reebok's seem to have made all those problems go away :)

@@PooplexCanal Hi. I had many pairs of speedgoats, speed instincts, arahi, and bondi but that was years ago. I've moved on from Hoka a while ago mostly because i found that the cushioning wasn't resilient at all and didn't last long. I much prefer tpu and pebax kind of foams nowadays

I bought 3 pairs of Floatride Energy in January 2020 and 2 pairs of the Run fast, both at like £20-25. Crazy cheap and I regret not buying like 10 pairs of each model. Have taken 2 pairs of the Energy to 1000k and the Run fast to 700k, and at that point i'd rather go to the closet and pick up a brand new pairs out of the box... So they're holding up pretty good durability wise! Bought the v2 of Run Fast a couple of weeks ago but waiting until the snow is melting until it go-time to try them out. Excited! Honestly these two models are pretty much everything I need in my rotation. Using the Floatride Energy to Long Runs, Easy Runs and Everyday runs. Run Fast for threshold and tempo, maybe some faster stuff as well. Love the Reeboks! Especially as contrary to other brands shoe prices and technology is going crazy right now. I would probably also race 10k, half and full marathon in the Run Fast.. Keep up the good work Reebok!

Favorite budget shoe was Adidas Duramo 8, my first real running shoe that I bought in an outlet for 20 euros...it was so so comfortable, yet responsive, loved the fit...just an amazing shoe...another one was asics gel-excite 7, not very responsive, but nice and comfy, that came out in its 8th iteration recently

Glad you got this in to test, it really is great (even if you forget the price!). I have the V2 and it fantastic but the v3 is slightly better - a smoother ride they are both a joy to run in and as you say you just end up reaching for them! The Symmetros is good for longer distances, similar ride but a touch softer and more actual midsole too. Another daily/ value pick is the NB Fuelcell Propel 2 great little daily runner 👍

Best budget shoe I've owned (still own) is the Floatride Energy 2. £29 and they're still going strong 💪🏻. I've had the Run Fast 2's, Symmetros and Panthea's since and the FF2 are still the best of the bunch. Got the 3's winging their way to me now 😊

I've had 3 pairs of the FR2 and one of the best shoes ever. So underrated. I had silver/orange and baby blue so no issues with colours. The corner comment was odd as I definitely felt locked in with mine but all feet are different haha!! I remember once I got a pair for 35 quid!!! Keep an eye for codes.

Just got them for under $50 USD shipped, and considering that this model is a few years old I really am amazed by how much value is packed into this shoe. Feels like a budget Pegasus or Ghost. Been doing some tempo runs in it and I'm totally jazzed by them. Didn't think I'd like a Reebok! so much. Great deal of performance and comfort at an outstanding price. I like the look of them, bit of 90s nostalgia vibe without being too on the nose. They disappear on your feet, they can handle all kinds of different striking patterns and cadences, and yeah they can handle (less technical terrain) trails pretty darn well. Chuffed.

I've got 400 miles on my 37s. My thoughts: Narrow and a little heel slip. Difficult to balance lockdown without lacing too tight. React foam takes about 50 miles to break in, then is really good. Overall I like them. I use them for long & speed runs. Probably good for at least 800 miles for my use, so better value per mile than EVA shoes in my opinion

I have them - better than the 36s, but I'd only give them around a 7/10. The front air pocket/pod thing has caused pain in the front of my left foot on several occasions. Went away after bit more running but have never had that with other shoes.

Reebok Floatride Forever Energy v1 (picked up several pairs on clearance at $27/pair US), Reebok Floatride Run Fast v1 (picked up several pairs at $36/pair US), and the Atreyu Base Model ($55/pair US) and all in my rotation for everything but racing. The Reeboks last a long time as well given the amount of rubber. Running can be a very, very inexpensive sport.

And what about the size? Would you say are true to size? Online sizing recommendator says 41EU if compared with Adidas where I wear 41 1/3 or 40.5 if compared with Nike's where I wear 41EU, so I'm not sure what size to purchase.

Hey paco. Symmetros has more foam and protection. Great over the longer stuff. I have used for workouts but they’re a little too heavy. The 3’s are lighter, slightly less foam, but I feel more responsive than the Symm. I always seem to finish fast in the 3’s. They want to go quick. I wear the same size, uk 10, In both of these and my Nike Tempos.

I too like the design and color. It is not ugly at all. It is the opposite. Better design than some popular adidas shoes such as the supernova. Designwise, I prefer brooks & Asics over other brands though. But this shoe is pretty

I have tried a wide variety of brands such as Adidas, ASICS, Hoka, Puma, Reebok, Saucony, and Skechers prices ranging from $50 to $170. I shop only clearance and super sales now. I love my shoe collection but I have learned I don't have to go over a penny of $100 for quality running shoes. By quality, I don't mean the absolute best. One has to assess oneself as a runner though. I am NOT Kipchoge!!! I don't need the Nike Alphafly or Vaporfly. I can get the Atreyu Artist carbon plated racing shoe for $100 or the Saucony Endorphin Speed Version 1 for $89. Yesterday I found out about a super sale on the Floatride Energy 3's. I got my 2nd pair for $50. I have already run in them. I have a narrow foot, true to size, no problems. Solid daily trainer. Enough said!

My favourite budget shoe for daily easy runs is the Reebok Symmetros. Awesome. Just awesome. I'll happily reach for them even though I have my other fave the NB 1080v10. My legs and feet love them both, but the Symmetros is significantly cheaper than the 1080v10. From now on, I'll be looking to Reebook for my long easy run shoes.

I managed to get a discount code and paid only 65 euros! Don't think you can get anything better for that price. These will be my daily trainers together with my nike oddysey and epic reacts. And I do think it looks great! The square mesh is refreshing!
