Have the Reebok and just received the Velocity. Velocity is more narrow, in correct length size there is not enough volume and width in it for me, with slightly wider feet. Probably comparable to Pegasus 37? Would only buy them if you have more narrow feet.. Both Reebok and Puma apparantly use smaller EU sizes (1/2 size , my 44 1/2 is 44 here in UK 9.5, which is 44 1/2 in Nike)

Hi Edd. I suppose a bit unrelated to this video but you're the man to ask. Do you have any opinion on the drop measurements when it comes to recovery runs. I'm running in 8 or 10 mm drops for all runs but would lower drops work better for recovery runs?

Definitely the Velocity is a bigger shoe, weirdly, it's a bit bigger such that my heel does feel as if it has more room but going down a size isn't possible as well as I think it'll be too short. But definitely isn't causing me problems while running. It has got great feel to it, much more responsive and wants to go a bit more faster than my Adidas Supernova.
@andrerusselch3 жыл бұрын
Update: I initially had shin pain with the Energy 3 but not with the Velocity. I ran with the Reebok again, this is my 3rd time giving the shoe a chance and it did wonderfully, no major shin pain this time but the Puma just outperforms the Reebok in grip (there's no competition here), the upper is definitely better on the Reebok although I do like how the Puma feels to the touch. I love how easy it is to speed up in the Velocity, the Energy 3 needs more effort from me to push for paces I can comfortably hit with the Velocity. Also, the Velocity feels lighter when 🏃♂️ due to its nature of poking you to go a bit faster. Overall two good shoes but the stable and faster ride with the amazing outsole for wet and slipper roads just takes it for me (although I have both).
