@@ryanmartin5456 The first number is the stack height, the height of the foam at it's thickest point at the heel. The second is the drop, so difference in thickness in foam from the heel to the toe. Both numbers in millimetres Higher the stack height usually the shoe feels more cushioned and comfortable over long distances, but tend to be heavier and less nimble changing direction High drop and low drop shoes slightly encourage heel striking and forefoot striking respectively, which can be good/bad depending on the injuries and weaknesses you tend to pick up. Knee and hip problems, maybe try running further to the forefoot and wearing shoes that support that. Ankle, calf, achilles and plantar fasciitis, maybe don't spend so much time up on your toes. But mostly just do the gym work to mitigate those weaknesses

I have 2 Superblast and my best 5k is 21:00 and 10k for 43:00. Normally I run for 5Ks 4-5 times a week and I am rotating my 1st Superblast and 2nd Superblast and I must say I am really happy. I just returned my Endorphin Pro 4's bc I found the version 3's for half the price. You're right the Pro 3's are a great show! Versatile & comfortable. They are just as good at the slower paces during long runs as they are for faster paces. I'm 5'10 206lbs and they're right up there with the Neo Vista's as my favorite pair of running shoes as a bigger runner! I've only used them twice so far but I actually switched into them halfway through a run from the Pro 4's bc I found the Pro 4's to be too squishy. The 3's feel firmer and I need some firmness as a bigger runner.

As they appear to have only two models that are Wide - and neither is remotely wide enough for me, I'd say they are not providing shoes for heavy people. Sure I have some of the widest feet at least for length (11.5-12) I've ever heard of but people who are built heavy and not just skinny people who are obese - have wide feet and should never be cramming toes into a too or much, much too narrow shoe

I feel like the Saucony Echelon should have been included on this list. It’s certified by APMA, comes in regular, wide, and extra wide. Unlike other lasts, the toe box and the mid-food are actually wide when they say wide. Neutral shoe that also is suited to accommodate prescription orthotics which, when I was a heavier runner, was a game changer for me. By my estimation, I’ve probably worn through 10+ pairs of this shoes over the last 4-5 years. There is nothing sexy about the shoe, it just gets the job done for a wider foot and heavier person.

I didn’t like the Zoom Fly 5. Very stiff ride despite the plate.

Interesting. I have the Zoom Fly 5 and love them. I also have the invincible 3 and although it's super comfy I feel more stable in the zoom fly 5. I'm right at 200lbs (down from 237 thanks to running)

I've got a pair of the Zoom Fly 5 as well. Worst shoe I've ever purchased. Like running in a pair of bricks. I gave up on them and went back and had another try about 6mths later and nope.

I’m 100kg and looking at the New Balance Rebel 3 and the Puma Velocity Nitro 3. Which would you recommend? I want something to munch miles for Ironman training.

Is nimbus 26 good for standing a lot during the day and walking? Not a runner here :). I'm torn between bondi 8, Gaviota 5 and nimbus 26. What do u recommend? :)

What is a heavy runner to be considered? Pro athletes for example are light between 55 kg and 65 kg
