Can you do a video on vegan fueling during the race? Like Ultras if possible. I've used various bars and whole foods, but it just seems to sit in my stomach and not digest, obviously, since that stops when running so I end up feeling dizzy and bonk so early in the race...

Hi Ben, I am not a vegetarian like you, but I’m suffering with iron deficiency ( looks my body doesn’t absorbing iron well) I see you eating a lot of beens and chickpeas what is your main iron food ?
@NaturalNicktrition6 жыл бұрын
Marzena Ward there are foods that actually inhibit iron absorption like dairy, coffee and I think green tea as well. Also Vitamin C helps increase iron absorption so consume foods with higher vitamin c along with your meals. Oats and beans are my favorite sources of iron. I’ve been vegan 6 years and my levels are good according to my blood results!
@Erin-rg3dw2 жыл бұрын
You can also try cooking in cast iron cookware. Pretty much everything I cook that's not saucy/liquid or tomato-based gets cooked in a cast iron pan and my iron's never been better. Maybe try a combination of cookware and iron-rich foods?

Runners have below average lifespans. Moderate exercise is beneficial, extreme exercise is not.
