GW2490T has 100Hz refresh rate, while GW2480T has 60Hz refresh rate. GW2490T has 2 HDMI ports, while GW2480T has 1 HDMI & 1 VGA port. Other than above mentioned differences there are some minor differences such as ePaper mode, VESA Media-Sync. Also, the height adjustment stand in GW2490T has an additional height of 30mm. We were wondering who'll ask that first? The GW2490T has a ergonomic base as you can see you can turn it left, right and turn it 90 degrees while the GW2490 has a fixed mount stand. @@deepakdass4710 no better go with dell or LG or any brand....you get any damage or fault only 7days service center replacements but your7day's pass easily...then start trouble with benq service policies they pass months.(they are deaf to here your voice).you will frustrates with their customer support..ans service manager call Ask silly questions.. They dont know types of monitor falts...they allwaya try to deny replacement You have write 100s of mails.. + 1000 of calls If you have patience& money is not important. .. then try Beanq🤬 ..

I have purchased GW2490 monitor. You have GW2490T. Is there only difference of Stand or other specifications also ? As i have noticed that in your model in auto brightness sensor there is LED indicator light blinking but in my monitor there is no LED light in Auto Brightness Sensor. Is it Okay or need to do anything for this service / facility enabled ? My second question is i want to purchase another monitor for my office work. I like its GW2790 also. is it suitable for 27inch screen for 1080p ? No gaming only office work.

We'll mention the pros & cons to help you make an informed decision. Gigabyte G24F2 is slightly expensive than the BenQ GW2490T. BenQ GW2490T has anti glare coating, a swivel stand, stereo speakers & supports portrait mode while Gigabyte G24F2 doesn't have both. Although, Gigabyte G24F2 offers higher refresh rate, additional USB ports & maximum peak brightness than BenQ GW2490T. Depends on your usecase. Let us know if you've more questions. Do the text and interface look sharp with mac? Because macs currently don't support subpixel anti-aliasing due to some reason. That's why for better PPI I'm going with the 24 inch version (GW2490) instead of 27.

the GW2490 offers 93ppi and in our use of the GW2490T there's a separate mode for coding & reading in the GW2490T which made it look better. Macs don't support it because MacOS's original settings are optimized to Apple's hardware. Therefore the subpixel rendering has been disabled by default, since Mojave. It means that now the text looks fine in HighDPI panels (Retina Displays) but odd in StandardDPI (Non-Retina Displays), in which they appear to be pixelated or chopped. I tried the BenQ GW2283 but the stand is a little too high so the top of the monitor is a little above eye level. I just wish the height adjustable monitors didn't have something sticking out over the top which may be distracting

Dont Buy Benq GW 2490😓 series waste of money dont take it give lot of troubles(after 4days use only....yellow shadeon righside of monitor) service engineer come after 10day of service call log and he said this problem i report in job sheet but .no support benq im faceing replacement problem since june month till now no solution they asky silly qustions like {what is ur purpose ot this monitor} and deny replace ment you have call daily for your update😡
