So which one should someone buy between asus proart pa278qv or benq pd2705q whose primary need is photo editing and secondary video editing. I use an MBP M1 and need something that matches the Mac colour space (Mbook seems a luring option but not sure if that is a marketing gimmick or true). I also use an iPad Air 5 for photo editing so consistency of colour is important for me. While monitor price in my country is hell high (400-800% tax from 27 inches to above) these are the two options within my price range (in USD calculation both are double than their global price in my country).

@TotallydubbedHD3 жыл бұрын
Pretty much no screen now is glossy; iMacs are the only ones I can really think of that have a glossy finish - this is because of glare/reflections being really bad on them for most people, but on the flip side black tones are superior on glossy panels.

@TotallydubbedHD3 жыл бұрын
@@Lorenzo-ou9qd don't worry about asking questions - that's what the comments section is for! There's a difference between the colour gamut they cover and then the actual colour ACCURACY. Thank you so much for your clear, detailed reviews! I'd be curious for your take on my situation. I'm totally torn on getting a BenQ PD2705Q vs a Lenovo Q27h-20. I do light video editing and graphic design but no intense color editing. I'm also a casual gamer, and I'll be using the monitor as a USB hub for my laptop (for mouse, keyboard, mic, etc.). I love the minimal aesthetic of the Lenovo Q27h-20 with no edges on any side, but the silver monitor color doesn't match my desk setup and the USBs would stick out the back rather than down. The BenQ PD2705Q ticks the opposites of all those points, but also doesn't have as many nits and my home office is in a pretty bright sun room. I appreciate your time and energy.
