Benq W1070 bare bulb replacement

Imagine the countless bulbs that were replaced with this video in the background ! Thanks a lot ! My only issue was that I didn't have a proper magnetic screwdriver so the back brackets on the bulb were difficult to screw back in. Beside that it looks good !

I have not checked how many hours has the new bulb. When I fire up the projector I will check.

please my BENQ 3D DLP projector of not displaying any light but display red button indicating LAMP. is the bulb bad, how do I get original bulb. Commenting from Nigeria.

Briggs Stanley either or lamp is loose or it's completely shot. I have to replace mine soon I'm at 5500 hours. the projector let's you know. I looked the lamps up and they are pretty expensive. $198 + smh

The entire lamp assembly is much more expensive but I'm not sure I'd want to take a chance on replacing the bare bulb. The only official replacement is the entire housing, so I'm concerned if I bought a bare bulb it wouldn't be the correct one. I've heard horror stories about aftermarket bulbs exploding or damaging projectors.
