I lost my grandmother to Covid in 2021, and I still think about her every day. Every word of this song resonates with me, reminding me of her. My grandmother unexpectedly passed away just a couple of weeks ago. She got to fulfill her dreams of watching her oldest grandchild graduate. I lost my grandfather when I was 5 years old and three days after my birthday. 10 years after that I just lost my grandma 6 weeks ago and my great uncle 5 weeks after I lost my grandma.
