Casio Edifice was my first watch ever.. I wore it(almost daily) for 19 years.. 19 years it lasted... Got it as a Christmas gift, never wanted or wore a watch before.. But I got it, so started using it, I was 19 years old at the time. I'm 39 now, it finally gave out last year, when the screws finally stripped themselves and the back plate wouldn't stay on. Only swapped the battery maybe 2 or 3 times in 19 years. It was simple, elegant and a god damn tank. Surprisingly quality watch. Wouldn't hesitate in the slightest to pick up another.

My Edifice is also on a similar path. I've had it for almost 8 years now, and only had to change the battery once. It's on the heavier side, and I use a watch as a utilitarian tool, but it's managed to hold up quite well. The bracelet has gotten quite dinged now, but the watch itself is still spotless, save for one tiny scratch on the glass, which isn't even noticable.

I am an enthusiast for vintage japanese watches. I bought an Casio CFX-200 Calculator watch. It is 40 years of age and still working perfectly. Love this brand. Vintage Seiko is the only one that comes close. Sadly newer models both from Seiko and Casio don't live up to their standars but both are still incredible brands. Especially when it comes to their "main-models" because the finishing on them is usually superb

Nonsense, 38mm is not a 'women's watch' (nothing wrong with those either btw). Men's watches used to be even 34mm in diameter. 1. Certainly ice cold! 2. If you really want to check all boxes, go with the Casio Edifice EFR-107S: sapphire + 10ATM + 8.2mm thickness + superb case finishing + even better dial. All this for just a little higher price (and a 40 mm diameter). 3. I don't think the EFV-110D is a ladies watch. Casio name their ladies line "Sheen", while "Edifice" is for men. 4. Good job for your great work! I enjoy your channel very much.

Great video. Having watched your video I've bought the blue dialed version for my son as an all purpose watch. It arrived yesterday and it's a beautiful watch of good quality.

Hello, I really like your website and your reviews. Can you please be so kind to add the width bracelet size ? I don't understand why this information is not important. For me it's mandatory. Even on Casio's official webpage (and many other brands) they do not give this information. Can you please tell me the width for the EFV-100D-1AVUEF and for the EFV-110D-1AVUEF ? By the way they are at the same price on Casio's website. Please always give the width strating from now, ok ? ;-) Thank you. Cheers

Can’t find the smaller 38mm watch in the US just selling the 40mm for upwards of $100 on amazon.

Totally ice cold. I really like the look but wondered what it'd look like on wrist. Your review has sold me. I've never seen you so enthusiastic about a watch.

Casio is killing it. No need to spend over $100.00 on a watch. For all intents, Casio addresses the market except the snobby high-end.

Billy Boy if you want better grade steel, reliable mechanical movement and precious metals then yes, you need to spend more than that on a watch. You may not care about those things, and that’s fine, but we could apply your bare bones argument to anything in life. If you’re happy with a quartz Casio, then get this. But it’s not just “snobby” people who seek other brands...

I miss Casio watches. I used to get these beauties when i was still living in Singapore, mostly from Mustafa center or Paya Lebar for cheap. They're quite expensive from Amazon, also in EUR. Maybe when the pandemic is over, swing by SG again for some watch shopping.

Highly commendable production. Great shots that focus on the watch. Great video overall. Review is good, but maybe a more critical flare is good. Will subscribe!

Over 110 U.S. I like Casio, but for a plain dress watch in that range, I'd go Orient Babino or Citizen eco-drive.
