Swollen and Private roads are two of the most beautifull songs I ever heard. Well done Simon!

Bent is just so fucking good man. The class of the early 90s, and late 88 in this genre, if one at all, sonned everyone. Every artist today. I just discovered Bent, Lemongrass, Dining rooms, Lemon jelly, and hope to discover more. All these sounds though. Kids gotta learn. Young people everywhere were making classy shit. Not some shit show like now a days. 80s, and 90s I'll stay with for best music of all time.

Saw this vid randomly and realized I hadn't listened to Bent in years. Swollen was absolutely one of my favorite vocal electronic tracks back in the day and each of the first 3 or so albums had at least 1 track that had beautifully epic vocals. Yesterday Rough Trade announced a vinyl reissue of a Bent album that completely escaped me so i'm looking forward to re-familiarizing with the early Bent albums and discovering the ones I missed.

You have to listen to the new album. The track "When you come by" is a dream!!

@@RUBENAGUILARIII i've listened through once and really dug what i've heard. I've not yet picked it up but Rough Trade is having or had a recent sale so I may be able to still get it at a bargain.

Great to see round Simon's studio and what a nice guy he is too. Creator of some iconic and influential sounds. Shame the interviewer liked the sound of his own voice so much. Interesting interview technique - ask a question and before Simon has a chance to answer, tell him what you think and how you do things then move on to the next question. I would have loved to hear more of what Simon had to say and much much less of the interviewer.

Yeah, Chris is special in his own kind of way. Wondering how Simon got through Chris' monologue and his "I like touching"-disease.

I just have to say that the piano part in Swollen is so brilliant and wonderful that I'm still baffled by it. It's what makes that song great. And Zoe's Angelic voice of course.

Take my advice, steer clear of Simon Mills. There's a lot of con men in the music business and he's one of the the biggest! He's lucky he ain't locked up but i'm not as cruel as him.

Your statement actually says more about you then it does him. Anyone who jumps on a social media platform to throw crap on someone is of very very poor taste. Doesn't matter if you are right or wrong this is not the place to do such things. Its just a video on synthesizers.
