For cell phone service for Telus, Koodo, Bell & Virgin Mobile we found the service to be pretty good for everywhere we went in the campground. No issues making phone calls, texts and watching videos. If you are with another cell service provider or have your own experience with cell service here please leave a comment to help out others.

Watching this video brought back great memories of my time in the area. I belong to a number of camping groups and often recommend your channel to members there. Now that I am getting older, I am doing less back country and more car camping, which I can do at a moments notice. Thank you for helping me narrow my choices. Looking forward to seeing what you have for the off season. All the best.

Fall time Grotto is a completely different experience than summer time Grotto. Summer time grotto is wall to wall people even with the required parking pass used to restrict tourist traffic. The short hike from Indian Head over to the Grotto we had to wait in line where again we had to wait to catch even a glimpse of the Grotto while being eaten by the biting flies. It's a beautiful area but be prepared if you're going during tourist season. We enjoyed half way log dump much more. Enjoy your videos and following along with all the familiar places.

Great video, this is a park I want to go to. I'm a yurt and cabin camper and is definitely on my hit list. Very informative video . I had no idea that firewood was free with your camping fees. The park has upgaded so much since the last time I drove around the campgrounds before Canada 150 which was 2017. It's only a 2 hr drive form my house. As a day user, I've been there many times. Very spectacular at any time of year. If you want to try an advanced kayaking trip, I once set sail on my kayak from Little Cove to the grotto and Indian Head which was also very spectacular. Took longer than i thought, I absolutely love the Bruce Trail up there. Your friend is a end to end hiker, very challenging and I have not done. Great season, and looking forward to next year videos,

Thank you for all that you do… your videos are a great resource! Question… When hiking in bear country, what safety measures do you take?
@CampingwiththeColes
@CampingwiththeColes Ай бұрын
We've done a lot of hiking in bear country and haven't really done anything different than hiking anywhere else. We've only come across bears a few times, with several times being while on portages, back country camping. In each case we just made some noise by yelling and the bear ran away quickly. Some people wear bear bells that jingle as they walk so the bears can hear them in advance and take off. We always keep our dog on a leash because we don't want him messing with a bear. Hiking in bear country is not a big concern for us.

I live on the Bruce and I warn you to be prepared for wall to wall people who are mostly rude and disrespectful. I guess they come from the city where it’s every man for himself.
