Well, that was impressive. I remember Clarkson once taking an Aston Martin on the autobahn at high speed, he said he emptied the fuel tank every 20 minutes. That's why if you drive long distances at a high sustained speed, the diesel is the way to go. If you do a lot of urban driving, buy the hybrid version, if you drive at sensible speeds with the occasional high speed run, buy the W12.

Safety first. Apparently the tyres are W coded, ,meaning certified for 270 km/h so Bentley programmed their onboard computer with this warning. Either get Y or ZR coded tyres or ignore the warning. It's not like they will explode after one minute traveling 271 km/h... Anyway it is more classy than a 270km/h sticker on your steering wheel.

It's a British plate, but anyone can order an LHD or RHD car in any market they choose. You can go into a British dealer and request an LHD car - they'll get you one. Go to a German dealer and request an RHD - you can have one. It has insurance implications (maybe tax too?) but it can be done. This is probably an LHD export model which has been registered in the UK.
