I have an idea for the sink drain (for your next sink). I've done this in the past and it works well. Straighten out a small paperclip and heat up the end with a match or lighter. Gently push the hot end into the sink where you want the drain. Push a scrapbooking eyelet through the hole and there's your drain. 😊

The sink and doghouse are fun additions to the project! I agree with some other comments: a small winged dragon in the doghouse would be perfect. Perhaps curled up sleeping? And adding landscaping to the outside would add to the fairytale theme - overgrown flowering vines, nests, a tiny elf or flying creature to discover peeking out of the foliage. Also, some accessories inside, perhaps made of paper, like dishes or knitting, so it feels homier. Really enjoyed the video; made me wish I had juice boxes to work on.

First off; beautiful work as always. I really liked the little extra board to put the metal parts of the sink on. It is very charming. As for the dragon and the (fairy) dog, could it perhaps be one and the same creature? A dog that she has enchanted to become a dragon, so that it may help protect the house, or a dragon she has enchanted to become a dog so it's a little less... huge all of the time. Perhaps the dog you make could have certain dragon traits, like horns, dragon wings and dragon-like eyes?

Oho! I have been wanting a poultry coop thingie and this will do the job perfectly in fact I have 2 1:12th goats too so I can make them a house too! You could have used a little bead cap over the black circle for the drain to look like the little grid bits in drains which might have made it look more convincing but really, it looks fine to me. Just stick a kettle on her stove so she can have a cup of tea and maybe hang up a couple of pots that can go on top of the stove to finish the kitchen. I don't think there's much else needed. I love this whole project Ara!

A couple of thoughts...put something on the side of the sink that would hold a small dish towel, and a little doggie food and water bowl would be a nice addition to the dog house. Maybe no wings on the dog. He could be like a familiar animal. He will be able to disappear and then reappear in another place without "flying with wings". Just add a touch of sparkle to him. :-) I do love your work! Amazing talent! :-)

For the sink hole it might be possible to have used hot glue gun tip to have melted thru the material before painting it-- I just think it depends on the glue gun tip. (Or a soldering iron with a round tip might have been able to go thru.)

I LOVE the doghouse! 💜 the crooked planks in the front, the small (but effective) details :) I just saved a milk carton that has a similar look to your juice cartons, tho it seems like my carton is a bit steadier than the juice one, I was thinking of making a small cottage or something out of it, and thanks to YOU, I know how to tackle the roof now :) and since my carton has a round hole instead of the way the juice boxes are opened, it would make a chimney very easy to do :D 💜 I´ve been loving this project from the start, so much inspiration, and you really show that you can do just about anything with things you already have lying around :) all you need is some imagination and inspiration :D So, THANK YOU! :)

So cute! I love your videos ❤️ Would you ever consider doing a weeping willow tree tutorial one day? Or maybe have some tips you could share? I'm wanting to start a new project with that as my focal point but I just can't seem to get the tree right..
@BentleyHouseMinis4 жыл бұрын
Hmmm... That would be a lot of fun but I am not sure when I would have time to do it so I will give you my initial thoughts and see if it helps a bit! I would create the tree trunk a bit like I did for the Abandoned Coffee shop but thicker to support the top of the tree. And instead of using a straw to sculpt the trunk around maybe twist some wires that will eventually shape the top of the willow branches. Once the trunk was dry bend the wires so that you have the weeping willow shape. Then use some embroidery thread in a few earth tone colors and start gluing them along the wires adding more and more threads until you are happy with the thickness of it. You can even dip the threads in a water/glue mixtures to get them to stay in place once they dry. This is just my first thing I think I would try. I have NEVER done it so take it with a grain of salt but maybe it will spark some ideas for you!
