The Azure was once a very nice unique Bentley.I am puzzled why its now become a trim level instead.But I love the cars nonetheless.

@@AB-gb8lb they are building an electric sports car at some stage. They have previewed such a car a few times already. That car could have used the name plate. They could have called the trim level Royale or Monarch or some other name that evokes royalty.

Why did it start moving when the doors are still being closed by the robotised door closing system, couldn’t the PCM just rely on the door close status from BCM and stop moving and/or inform the driver via a warning on the IPC..!

Bewildering to take the model name from the iconic Azure and make it into a strange trim level. The whole wellness/wellbeing concept sounds so pretentious when applied to a car, and then bastardising the Azure name as a moniker for it all is truly irritating to Bentley fans and confusing to new customers. Someone messed up signing off on this silliness.

@@Buy_AskAndItIsGiven_Book Sure. Bentley made a very beautiful large four seater convertible starting in the mid 90s called the Azure, which was based on the Continental R coupé platform. When that was discontinued in the mid 00s they then brought out another large convertible model named Azure, this time based on the Arnage limousine platform and which was essentially a convertible version of the Brooklands coupé. My point is that it’s really peculiar to take a well established name for a specific model of car within a marque, in this case four seater convertibles called Azure, and then start using it as a name for a trim level within various different different models which aren’t anything to do with the Azure. It’s like Mercedes deciding to use ‘E class’ as a name for a trim level for all of their models from hatchbacks to SUVs. Bentley could easily have used one of their classic names like ‘Red label’/‘Green label’, or given that the new ‘azure’ trim levels don’t seem to offer additional performance upgrades, just come up with an entirely new name for the variants. I realise this is probably not important to many people, but to a lifelong fan of the brand I find it very irritating indeed 😂
