Benvinda Angela (Welcome Angela)

This short film tells the story of a young couple, Mateus and Marta, who are going to have their first baby. Mateus and his father Antonino are trying to convince Marta and her mother Inès to seek care at the health facility, but both are convinced that they should continue the tradition of delivering at home. The film was developed by the Ministry of Health of Timor-Leste, with support from JSI Research & Training Institute, Inc., to encourage pregnant women to deliver at the health facility.
