I will never not find it funny that one of the most complex, varied, and atmospheric video game soundtracks of all time comes not from an epic RPG or plot-heavy adventure, but a platformer about a pair of monkeys fighting alligator pirates. A great rearrangement of a legendary soundtrack.

Lockjaw's Saga was one of my favorite tracks from the original game. On first play, this rendition started off a little slow and different for me, and I wasn't sure how to feel. ... but then THOSE DRUMS hit for the first time.... Every hair on my body stood on-end. A flood of nostalgia and excitement pulsed through my very soul. Such a faithful rendition of the original with added flair in all the right places. This was AMAZING, perfectly done!!

As a 5 year old in 1995 when this game released, I remember my brothers and I got this game for Christmas that year and we immediately started playing it. DKC2 was, is, and always will be my favorite game in the DK series. The different world themes, and especially the soundtrack are what make this game so special to me.
