My grandmother got me my first video game ever... the game boy pocket.... two games, Dkc2 and Yellow version.... i couldnt figure out the contrast knob for the first few weeks... but eventually i think I truly spent a well beloved second lifetimes worth of time listening and whistling along to this soundtrack while my little mind exploded. Only ever beat it once, and it was by accident!!! X3 Thank you, Grandma.... I love you.

Jumping in to tell anyone that reads to play Tropical Freeze on Switch if you haven’t yet! It’s AWESOME and David Wise makes a triumphant return as the composer and as I’m sure you can imagine the soundtrack is SICK

The music and gameplay of Tropical Freeze makes it a worthy successor to DKC 2. Even though I do think Tropical Freeze's flaw make it worse than DKC 2, it's still an incredible game like every other game in the DKC franchise.

I love the pounding drums, it's the sounds the Kongs would make stomping and slamming. Symbolic of their freedom. This whole soundtrack is immersed in the universe of the game. I love the use of sounds and instruments that you would find in the world itself. My favorite track is Klomp Romp for this reason
