24:38 It feels like just yesterday I was sitting in my living room sitting WAYY too close to the TV absolutely stressing out because of all the thorn walls! Such an incredible trip in time. This soundtrack is GOATed.

This OST and other countless ones are my safe space. They bring me back to a time of joy and excitement, with no worries. Luls me back to a calm when I need it.

I mean this truly and honestly, this is up there with the best pieces of music ever created, and the game is one of the best works of art ever

The entire soundtrack screams SNES 1995. It’s awesome, reliving my childhood. Runners up: Forest Interlude In a Snow-Bound Land 🥉Hot Head Bop 🥈 Mining Melancholy 🥇 Stickerbrush Symphony

what a fuckin banger soundtrack. david probably could've turned in something much more generic but he popped the fuck off and the results still hold up nearly 30 years later.

Best DKC OST of all, and best game of the series overall too, hands down!

I still think 1:02:12 is some of the best credits music in a video game I've ever heard. After playing the entire game from start to finish it has a sense of victory and conclusion to it. Very well done and by far one of the most memorable tracks from the game.

Always gets my skin crawling, in a good way. Especially when it hits those highs.

I love the pounding drums, it's the sounds the Kongs would make stomping and slamming. Symbolic of their freedom. This whole soundtrack is immersed in the universe of the game. I love the use of sounds and instruments that you would find in the world itself. My favorite track is Klomp Romp for this reason

Man, that ending music was EPIC. I remember really liking the ending music from DK1 and looked forward to the credit music on DK2 and remember not being disappointed!

I played this game back in 1996-1997....I would never imagine that I would be nostalgic about it 26 years afterwards. Gaming back then was extremely fun and fulfilling. Developers really knew the essence of what makes a great game....
