Ta for the fair, balanced review John. As an H8 owner, I am more than happy with mine (deep bass and all!) and love the touch control they have with swipe gestures. You should see the looks I get from people when I'm swiping at my H8s - it's beyond cool ;)

H8 are very nice, glad you like them Beefers. Thanks for getting involved. I gave you a mention at the end of my Multi-Room video for being a top supporter of my channel. John

Thanks John! I somehow missed the Multi-Room video - but will check it out soon. By the by, despite my KZbin name (based on a childhood nickname - don't ask) I have a real name - Adrian. Keep up the first-rate reviews.

Well Adrian, I'm now intrigued. If you are ever in Manchester pop in, I need to know where Beefers came from. John

Great review as per John, bit confused why they came away from the touch swipe feature, guess it makes it lighter, but was a fan of the swipe. P.s have a set for sale if anyone interested 😉😉

Hi John. Thanks for the review. Two questions, with the first being much more important to me: 1. The batteries are sealed in, that is irreplaceable easily, on the H8i. Would you as reseller be able to replace them? 2. My dad owns the H8 (no i) and i use them a lot for watching movies when i am at home. I like the powerful bass and it’s dynamic over the depth of my V Moda (which I prefer for music). How would - in your opinion - perform the H8i and H9i perform in this regard. Thanks,

Thanks for the great review John. Just wondering if you experienced any Bluetooth dropouts? I bought a pair of H8 and exchanged for 4 different pairs, all had the dropout issue. So had to get the QC35. But I’m really hoping these won’t have the same problem so I can get back on track with B&O :) Thank you!

Hey John, so i turn off anc before switching off my H8i. But when it restarts, the anc will turn on automatically as well. Any way to keep ANC off permanently till i turn it on? Cheers.

I bought a pair of these and I love them. I wanted to try over ear and I was wondering if the H9/H9i earpads fit these? I know it may be a dumb question but thought it could be remotely possible. Great videos!!

Hey John, me again. My H8i current software version 5.0.6, with no music on, it won't switch off automatically, it just keeps the power on for the whole night. Does it happen to yours? Cheers.

to be precise, even the power button took me so long to find out how to connect, need to go youtube everytime to find out how to connect. Bluetooth connection is also tricky.

For the h8i will the audio be exactly in time to the video when watching a movie? For bluetooth mode.

hi, i just got these today for my birthday, but i've never owned a bang and olufsen product before. do i wait for it to charge completely before using it? i've plugged it into my pc with the usb cable and it is flashing orange (charging)

Its always best to charge fully on first use but you can use straight out of the box.

Is there a way to use to old H8 one with the switch with out activating the noise cancelling? I need to listen to special audio that needs to be listened with NO noise cancelling?

i am pretty sure you can turn off the noise cancelling

How about Siri support? Does the battery status show up in iOS?

Yes, the battery % will display along with iphone battery %. Just pressing play/pause key for few secs, Siri will be active

Is using ANC without music good on these? Or does the silence have hiss?

it does have the electricity sound without music, but it is common even on Bose QC

So basically on the H8i packaging, the blurb should say "Eh up lad, nout bad sound!" or from Bristol " propper sound me lubr" I wonder what beoplay marketing would think of regional packaging?

hahaha, I wonder if they understand English humor? Brilliant review as always :) just out of curiosity, if I bought a headphone amp, would that help improve the sound further?

It could only help. I used to have a Musical Fidelity headphone amp, sounded lovely.

I noticed there was a dramatic difference in volume from using the beoplay H4's plugged in vs bluetooth!

Difference between h8i and h9i
@BangOlufsenManchester6 жыл бұрын
I prefer the sound and features on H9i but both are excellent. H8i are on ear and H9i are over ear, it comes down to what style you prefer. I highly recommend popping to a dealer if you can and having a listen. I have also done a H9i review here kzbin.info/www/bejne/nJOqeIl8qaqJhrc

Canot recommend the H8i's at all. Bought them, wore them for around 30 Minutes and had to take them off since my ears started hurting too much. They are not comfortable, nor do they fit my head. Absolutely not worth the money. Sound was pretty good but that does not make up for the horrible wearing experience. I'm so glad I could sell them on ebay. Will never buy anything from this company again.
@BangOlufsenManchester4 жыл бұрын
Thank you for your honest account. This is why we have the larger cup on the H9i... if you bought them on line why didn't you just return them if you purchased in store why didn't you try them... Buying stuff should not be this hard..

@@BangOlufsenManchester I bought them in a store in Germany and could NOT be returned for hygienic reasons!! That is why. I'm so glad ebay exists. I was fooled by the leather and design. My aldi headphones are much more comfortable and cost like 10% of your product. Thanks for nothing
