Bequia Easter Weekend on a Sailboat S7Ep10

We watch the Easter Regatta local sailboat races and meet some Fun on Holiday fans in the race. On Easter we check out all the festivities in the main city of Port Elizabeth. Worn out, Lindy cooks us some yummy food aboard Holiday, and we get some rest.

A little early for easter, Zach. Its not for a few months yet but its nice to see someone on the ball and ahead of the game.

A couple questions! That water looked like it was 3 feet deep! how deep was it actually? Are you anchoring there, or on a mooring? And, how expensive is Bequia? Maybe a video on relative costs of areas you have visited!?

It was not very deep right there. About 6 feet. A lot of the bay is 10 feet and deeper. We were anchored. There are moorings on Bequia, but we haven't used them yet. Lots of anchoring room. Bequia is relatively expensive compared to, say, Grenada. But not crazy expensive, like the Virgin Islands. Our budget goes pretty far in Grenada. Just a little bit less far in the Grenadines. French islands we're not too much different but with even better grocery shopping and some things surprisingly cheap. St Martin was about the same. Dominica was affordable. St Lucia was the most expensive. Dominican Republic was very affordable. Puerto Rico was in the middle. Bahamas are expensive. That's off the top of my head! Lol
