Bravo guys, a kick-ass trail ridden by two skilled and fit riders. I would have had irreversible arm pump after 15 minutes! Oh to be young again. I've ridden across Moab on more established trails and grew up riding New England woods but this terrain is truly monumental. The fact that you didn't smash your engine cases (or ankles) to pieces in some of those narrow chutes, is impressive. Thank you for not adding what seems to be obligatory head-banger music, your narrative added to the already terrific video. Keep it up.

If you go to that trail and you get used to it you can do that trail in about 30 minutes hauling ass. I did that trail in 40 mins on a Suzuki rm 90. The time I did it in around 30 mins with gps it was with my Husqvarna 300i. It's an enduro bike for those that are not riders. The Suzuki is a little 2 stroke with alot of power for its size. My best advice would be use a GPS the next time you go. My gps set up mounts right on my handle bars. I have 2 of them incase one fails or stops working. They both are made by different companies and use different service providers. And the mount i have it great you can wreck your bike and go off jumps and the gps stay right where they are supposed to be. The only way the gps can come off the mount is to take the mount off the handle bars. The mount is made from aluminum. I like the set up because they cant just pop out the mount when you hit a bump like some cheaper mounts do. I never leave with out them when I ride in the desert for obvious reasons. And no I'm not talkin about the one on your phone. Uou think the 125 is hard do it on a 90 and tell me how it is. Lol. Alot of switching gears constantly. Next time I go ima do it on a pitbike. I was gonna do it the time I used my 90 but the ppl I was with told me it would be to hard. But see I like doing trails that most can't do and if you can't tell already my favorite type of riding is enduro races. I've always wanted to do a real enduro race the sea to sky race or something like that but wat hang Graham Jarvis ha e trouble makes me second guess doing it.

For anybody wondering how crazy impressive this is. I’ve ridden 5moh many times and usually takes me about 4 hours. It’s not his technique that’s the impressive parts. It’s his physical stamina to do it this fast.
@BeRAD
@BeRAD 4 ай бұрын
Haha thank you! I will say though, with the right technique, you don’t even get tired going this pace. When I recorded this my technique lacked compared to now and even then I wasn’t terribly tired. Also wasn’t in particularly great shape. Just making a point that technique is a huge factor and would say that it was on my side to get me through this. I want to go back with my 250 and smash this time.

The hardest trail in Utah? Nah man! I've lived here my whole life and can tell you that the hardest trails in Utah have no name are on no map and rarely see riders. The only people who know they exist are the locals from the towns they surround. I don't know why everyone is so attracted to Moab, its cool, it's pretty, it's fun. But i'd rather go where I know i'm not going to see another person and might discover something new, both of which are very easy in Utah and you don't have to sacrifice scenery.
@BeRAD

That was some fantastic trail riding. Back when I was 12 my dad used to put a lot of pressure to me and put me in really tight and difficult spots like these asking me to gas through the entire thing. Me, as an intermediate-begginner with no so much control of my dirthbike (plus it was a 400),felt really frustrated for a lot of years. Today watching you ride through a very difficult trail, made me do the paces with myself. I no longer feel like a useless kid-rider 😀and understand much more that it takes time to master the gears, the balance, and the movement of the bike in difficult stuff like this. You should definetely come and ride in Argentina sometime. Keep progressing and letting us enjoy the ride!

Hello Brad, I have enjoyed your videos on the 125X. I am looking to set up a bike like you have done with the 125X. Would it be possible with a 2002 YZ125? I do rides similar to what you do. Desert, Mountain hard-ish enduro in Southern California. Looking at a 2002 YZ125 and wondered if it would be possible to get it close to what you have done with the 125X. The guy already put a heavier flywheel on it and said it smoothed it out a lot. I'm going to go look at it tonight, but am a little concerned if it will perform like your 125X. I am 185-200 lbs depending on how good I am being at working out. I am looking for something super light, and am attracted to the 125's for that reason. I used to ride a 525 and have gone down to 250 and realized I don't even think I need that much. Very rarely full throttle even on the 250, maybe in deep sand and long hill climbs, but that is it. Also, I'm not sure if you sell parts for these, or just the 125X. Thank you, and I really enjoy your videos.

Got a question for you on the 125 but a bit of background; I’m light and lanky (155lbs 6’ 1”) and come from a mountain biking background, currently have a 250 2t which I do great on. Anyways I was wondering how you like the 125, it seems to be doing really well. How is it when you’re not going balls out on the pipe all the time? Notice that you’ve gotta clutch kick a few times but seems to do ok. I don’t need a new bike but that 30lb weight loss is alluring haha

I've ridden that thing twice, but each time it was right at 16 miles, not taking any of the bail-outs?? Didn't time them because I was too busy giving away all my water to idiots who ignored the warnings- "bring at least a gallon of water". You are correct, some of those climbs up slick-rock are massive and require a planned approach. Those tires were working well, I have them on my GS700 but not dirt bike. Both times I rode it on a WR250 2 stroke, last year ever made, and best year... Doubt I'd want to do it on my 4 stroke today, mostly due to old age. The local club I belonged to was giving away T-shirts the first time- "I survived 5 miles of hell" if you made it to the finish... Excellent video, thanks.

I had a YZ125G. Long, long time ago. Would suck to crash with all those rocks. Sand is much nicer.

5 miles is always a cool vid. 5 miles of hell on a yz125x with adult rider is mind blowing.👍 Great vid. You should do a version 2 on the yz450fx

Is that a 125X? Is there a reason you would want to ride technical enduro on a 125 2 stroke??? bike sounds great btw

I think a 500 would be the easiest bike to ride on it actually. So easy to just lug through everything!

Do you have a bigger tank on this thing? Or does it last that long with everything you have done to it? Awesome vid!

Stock tank. I probably only used 1/4 tank truck to truck which is this 8.2 miles and another like 10 or so miles
