I had what I thought was a great boyfriend. I believed we'd marry & he adored me. He was a lukewarm believer though, with many unhealed wounds & deep trauma. Despite his love..it fell apart. He left. God told me he wasn't willing to consecrate himself and surrender. He was also too proud. I feel I dodged a bullet but it still hurt. Im incredibly glad i didn't get into a sexual relationship with him. I was tempted but I obeyed God.

Last week I decided to go through with my divorce. At the age of 21 I got married believing the only thing I was missing was a man because I had everything else. The business, the money, the car, the apartment. So much identity in the world that I had no identity in the world. I got married to a man that had bold red flags, believing I could change him. Well I’m now 23….. and I want identity in God. I want God. I’m soul searching for my identity in Christ and I realized I no longer want to stay in this . I want God 🥹 so I’m moving on and I pray for him daily. But I want ME!

I used to ignore the red flags because I hated being alone but now I’ve learned to be alone and doesn’t give any and everybody access to me anymore and i refuse to be with a man who isn’t willing to stop the generational cycles and doesn’t care enough to heal so generational trauma wouldn’t be pass down to our kids. I turned 20 last month but regardless of my age ik God has someone out there for me I just continue to seek him everyday and heal till he sends him and don’t entertain counterfeits

How did I arrive here (to this video)? 2 nights ago, I complained to a family member that my day was so busy I didn’t get to enjoy tarot once today. This family member quietly laughed and suggested I look up Isaiah 47 verse 12 thru 13 NLT. I looked it up 😯😟 and was shocked 😧. The next night, I woke up still thinking about this verse. The night after that… still thinking about the suggested verse and now tonight… I’m on KZbin revisiting Joyce Meyer messages and discovering more profound biblical teachings from pastor flowers (whom this same family member also introduced his biblical teachings to me). This family member may have changed my life by just that one suggested verse. I haven’t been to church in 10 years and now I’m here thinking about repenting. Please pray for me, all… 🙏🏾

Whew! This is a work of art & triggering. I was married for 15 years. We were 21-22 yrs old. Now I’m a big 48 & honestly I don’t ever want to do it again. Marriage is for the BIG BOYS. It’s not for the weak. You are constantly working it out but most times the other spouse isn’t trying or will tap out after 1 1/2 weeks. Then what?! You fast & pray for them & 10 yrs later they are the still the same🤦🏾‍♀️. It’s very exhausting when you are the spiritual leader & warden of the house. I must say, I did marry someone who God didn’t approve. He was a fetus Christian & I thought I could change him & help him grow in the things of God. Marry who God has for you. I hope that you open your eyes. Every time this man post his Thursday therapy, he takes a “foundation text” and twist it to make it sound like he wants. For example in this one he took Acts 16:6 to make it sounds like it’s talking on marriage. This is called eisegesis where people insert their own idea into the text thus completely misinterpreting the text. He does that most of the time. He uses the Word of God as illustration for his own ideas. This is bad.

wow this is just what i needed to make peace with my breakup. He is a good man but as you’ve said, i haven’t been making the right decisions but I’ve been trying to make my decisions right.
