I totally understand what you are saying. When I am in Houston, this is where I go. I love Pastor Jerry and Mamma Flowers teaching. Plus both of my daughters are members there. I love how they are growing. I live in McKinney so I watch online after I leave my church. My advice is pray about it. Ask the Lord where does He want you to be. It's so important to be connected to the right ministry. I used to live in Detroit but found a church in Flint, over an hour away. I ended up moving to Flint to be closer to the church so that I could do more in the ministry. The 1st 5 years I drove over an hour away to go to church. I was there for 15 years until I moved to Texas. Seek the Lord, He will lead you. Yes, find a church. Keep watching the videos until you either make that move. Or drive there every week. Just get planted, serve the Lord and serve people. God bless you. I pray you get the answer you need. This is a great ministry.

I searched so long for a strong church home and found Pastor Flowers online during the 2020 pandemic right after I was released from hospital after battling Covid. Pastor Flowers your submission to Gods word and your leadership have truly helped my spiritual life. I live all the way in metro Detroit with my husband and daughter and you have faithfully gotten my family through the last 3.5 years! Your insights span across time zones and hundreds of miles. So BE ENCOURAGED that as you pursue a permanent physical church space Gods plan for you won’t be bound within any four walled building. I’m confident that may be why the search is taking so long. God like this destiny so big these buildings are ill equipped. If only we could attend in Houston every week. Still, thank you for showing up consistently each and every time. Especially this week when I feel like the message was handpicked for my current season!! To know God let MY PASTOR who probably don’t even KNOW he is my pastor advise on what I’m going through in current day over a thousand miles away is just proof of Gods love and looking after his sheep☺️

Pastor Flowers is one of my favorite pastors. The portion of the ceremony where he talks about the devil telling you to quit really resonated with me. I had that feeling a few weeks ago, it was so overbearing that I had to reach out to my aunt for prayer. I also needed to pray, the feeling of wanting to quit was so intense that it made me feel like quitting would be easier/a relief. But I know that God called me for more and that my gift is not for me, even though I haven't quite figured what it is exactly, I know that much. It seriously blessed me when he said that that means you're close. That is the reassurance I needed, even though I am no longer in that place, it's amazing to know that God is about to do something amazing. God bless you Pastor Flowers!

This resonates with a sermon I heard sometime in the past that said, anytime something is impressing on you to quit so bad, ask where it's coming from cos we know the enemy came to steal, kill and destroy, he doesn't love us so why will he care to advise us, it just means he wants us to lose a blessing. The Holy Spirit is always there as our guide to ease us through.

If you haven't already, try 1-2 weeks of only listening to Christian, Gospel, Worship or Lo-Fi (instrumental) music and see how the Lord draws you near to Him. After that keep going and it will only purify your soul. Great observation, Context Is Key indeed, remember from the beginning the Israelites were not to intermarry with other godless nations (Deuteronomy 7:1-4) shows that this is God will. And Samson’s Parents even tried to remind Samson of this in Judges 14:3 by specifically saying “must you go to the uncircumcised Philistines to get a wife” Uncircumcised meaning “non covenant people” it’s the same language David used when He approached Goliath and called him an uncircumcised philistine (I Samuel 17:36) With all of that being said and knowing that God commanded His people to not marry with godless nation such as The Philistines, why would verse 4 which you highlighted state that it was from The Lord? The proper interpretation and hermeneutic of the text is, it was “allowed” by God’s sovereignty and foreknowledge of knowing what Samson was going to do, and God used that to execute judgement on the Philistines. God knew Samson was going to disobey and He used that disobedience to carry out His will on The Philistines Similar to how Ishmael was not God’s original plan for Abraham’s promised son, but then years later God used The Ishmaelites to get Joseph over to Egypt Make sense? Bottom line even when we go against God’s will, at times He will allow it and even use it to carry out His will. Judges 14:4 solidifies that, and so does the life of Judas Iscariot, God can get the glory even from our mistakes.

They intentionally put chains on you and you are lost in the sauce trying to figure out what in the world is happening. We need to look at everything with spiritual eyes. If we could see the demonic activity before we allow someone in our lives we can save ourselves years of unnecessary trauma. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy but the Lord has given us life to live it more abundantly. Hallelujahhhhh!!! 3 years out and NO TURNING BACK.
