The good news about the ammo/magazine issue is that this has been fixed with a new follower design that will allow 5 rounds with most 2 3/4 shells on the market

@noahnewcomer5180 good on beretta for not forcing folks to the aftermarket. Realistically most are going to swap the tube/extend if they're running 3 gun.

I try to get as wide a variety of ammos as I can find when reviewing shotguns. The ammo situation makes it hard at times to get a massive selection.

Wish it came with the tube extension maybe not the Tony systems +4 but maybe a +2 or +3 since we only get the 21" option.

It definitely would've been nice to have the Toni one included in the box.

Rumor has it that the Lancer extension extends to infinity. Just messing with ya, these 21” guns with 12-14 round tubes sure do look funny though. Have you seen the Orlov telescoping carbon extension? That would be an interesting review for this shotgun. Not a lot of information out there. Could be the perfect solution on the 21” gun.

I've been looking at those. Trying to justify the expenditure to myself. All of his work looks beautiful.

@@Gruntreviews Yeah they look fantastic, the make a full carbon stock and handguard too. Yeah they are pricey, I always just look at it if the total package is worth the price not the individual component. While a $400 magazine tube is really expensive, it still makes it about an $1,800 shotgun. Still pretty good for that feature set, considering guys are running $3k TTI M2’s that don’t even have a novel feature like that. I keep waiting for a 24” comp pro to come in stock.

@@sethrich5998 I saw the stock and handguard too......it's nice, but hard to justify 1500 for a stock, hanguard, and mag tube

@@Gruntreviews Yeah it’s crazy right now. I used to work in the industry and have some rifles on order with a company we’re friends with and got dealer pricing on. It’s still going to be 9 months to a year before I get those in. Luckily that’s only a few more months now from when I placed the order. Yeah I agree, I’d probably go with just the mag tube. That’s actually a real performance improvement. The rest is cool factor with maybe some weight savings, but hard to say that’d make me shoot any better. Plus you’d actually give up the dampening in the stock. The mag tube has actually had me reconsidering a 21” vs 24” since it wouldn’t stick out so far now and the 21’s used to be popular with the old 9 round limit rules.

A little disappointing to hear that, with all of that "kickoff" hardware in the stock, the recoil doesn't feel that different (or at least not 40% less, as advertised). But like you say, felt recoil is somewhat subjective, so I'm hoping I'll feel a big difference than a Remington 870 12-gauge (The last 12 gauge I owned - 10 years ago).
@Gruntreviews2 жыл бұрын
Being semiautomatic, it'll have less recoil than a pump from the start.
@pete56919 ай бұрын
You will feel less recoil. I have an a400 xplor that i tested against my 870 wingmaster and the difference is absolutely noticeable.

What needs to be done to add a tube within the 922r?
@Gruntreviews4 ай бұрын
FFT would be the experts on that. They make quite a few 1301 parts that would get ya to compliance.

@@Gruntreviews Video starts at about the 1:24 mark So the criticism of this liberal is actually ok. We watch a ton of gun vids. We came here for a review of the Beretta 1301 Comp Pro - nothing more, nothing less. We're just sick of gun reviews saying blah, blah, blah... and wasting our time for 1-5 min. at the intro.
