This is a tabletop review of the BERETTA 3032 TOMCAT .32 AUTO. In this video we will discuss the size, features and performance of the pistol. We will use another popular platform for size comparison and to help establish an idea of how it feel to carry based on similar sized model. We will discuss the range performance, including which ammunition was used and any problems that were encountered. In addition, we will explore different carry options for the pistol and report on what level of comfort was experienced. It doesn't matter what someone carries. It can be a 22, 25, 32, 380, 38 Special, 9mm, etc. What matters is are comfortable carrying the weapon, and can you put rounds on the threat.

I was concerned when I saw operators say the frames cracked, sometimes after one shot. I understand that the company beefed them up a little, but some are still breaking. I own a Ghostbusters model and it is Cerakoted so I have hopes it will last a while, but I am skeptical.

Put someone in hand cuff and win a fight can be done easy with 32acp. Fighting multiple people, at distance no. I've shot several animals with a 32acp and it immediately kills them. Goats, & dogs have thinker skulls than humans with humans having one of the weakest skulls from animals in its weight class. If stronger animals immediately die in a head shot humans stand ZERO chance. I've yet to have a animal survive a head shot

I have competing maladies, atrial fibrillation and hiatal hernia. This little pistol has proven a godsend. I'm sure that for many and perhaps most, it falls into the "better than nothing" category. For my purposes, it provides reassurance. Sure, I would prefer a more powerful cartridge, but this has come along at just the right time for me. I knew about these pistols for years. Mine has become a trusted companion.

It's an excellent firearm. I actually consider it to be one of the best self defense firearms ever created. It definitely has pro's and cons... but nothing has ever compared to it as far as I know. I know Taurus came out with the Pt-22 and Pt-25's, but they're DAO (which is okay)... but I don't know of any other DA/SA firearms of this size, especially with a tip up barrel. I really think Double Action (DA/SA) is the best option for concealed carry and there just isn't many DA/SA firearms of this size. Also, the .32 is far more capable than most people would believe. I know the 72gr ammo causes the frames to crack... but it's not hard to find the 71gr ammo. Underwood makes the Xtreme Defender ammo in .32ACP now, but I don't know if it runs in this gun. I would bet that it would and that it would protect against the frame from cracking, even if you get the hotter stuff. The xtreme defenders are by far the best self defense round I've ever seen in smaller calibers (.380, 9mm, .32ACP). In .380 it literally outperforms nearly all 9mm rounds in terms of penetration, not over-penetrating and being By Far the most "barrier blind" round that has ever existed. You can shoot it through glass, drywall, bone, leather, fleece, thin sheet metal and many other things... but then it will STILL penetrate almost the exact same amount as if it never passed through a barrier. As good as it is though, I don't buy it myself, because I think it's priced unfairly. Sorry to hear about the Atrial Fibrillation and Hiatal Hernia. I have the same. I never knew that the two were linked though (in the medical field), but I always knew they were (because I can feel it on a regular basis). I very strongly believe that other heart and especially lung problems are caused by the stomach also.

I had Trijicon Night Sights installed by ToolTech gun sights. Added grip extensions and had custom wood grips made by some guy in Texas. It's now a Beretta Alley Cat clone, but better looking. I have put a couple of thousand rounds through it without any malfunctions. My favorite pistol to this day.

I have an Inox in a DeSantis pocket holster. It is the CCW I do carry. It may not be the one I want to carry, but its size allows you to easily slip it in your pocket as easily as a wallet. No need to change clothes or put on a holster or have some uncomfortable hunk of plastic or metal jammed against your body. The .32 ACP is perfectly suited to the size of the pistol allowing you to fire it with one hand if need be. As far as the bad guy was concerned, you were reaching into your pocket for that wallet...

I put a little red nail polish dot on the front sight (Inox). Looks like it came like it from the factory and I can tell it helps with picking up the sight quicker and my accuracy has improved for what it's worth :)

Most 32 ACP hollow points out of a short barrel are not going to expand not enough velocity so you're much better off just using FMJ hardball and get good penetration that way

Nice little pistol. My 32 ACP is not small enough for a pocket gun but I have carried it in an IWB holster. It is a CZ VZ 50 made in 1951. Not a fist choice for carry but it is accurate, reliable and will do its job if I do mine 😁. My pocket carry is a S&W M&P Bodyguard 380. Great video, thanks for the information.

I’ve had mine since 94 I call it my summer gun pretty much go anywhere. I got some underwood ammo and 32 and that’s what I carry in it now. Most of the research I’ve seen and read hollow points will not open up and you’re worried about penetration anyways.

I have many had guns and have had many professional roles in military and gov roles. I carry the new 21a in 22 a great deal mine is walnut checkered with suppressor threads. I found it reliable 500+ rounds and no failures or misfires. I use heavy Winchester super x. It does great and feels great in the hand and is accurate out to 25 yds. It is a great gun. I have many compact 9s and if I do not need to deal with barriers the 22 is great.

I had the 21A .22 LR with smooth rosewood grips and because of it's size and the fact that I could carry it in my front pocket of my blue jeans or shorts, it was my favorite summer time carry. I loved that gun!! The only quirk that pistol had was it's affinity for premium ammunition such as Stingers or Mini Mags and it's definite distaste for the cheaper brands. Federals and Winchesters would start out fine but eventually they would jam the gun. Enough times that not only did I know better then to run the cheapies through it but I wouldn't buy them if the good ones weren't available either. Comparatively speaking, it was like a whole different gun using the good stuff but something you'd sell quickly if you shot junk through it. And my Beretta Centurion isn't nearly as finicky!!! Anyway, I hadn't thought about a .32 ACP version but after this great video I AM NOW...

I have my choice of literally any carry handgun I want and I have routinely carried all of the popular makes and models. However, I find myself carrying the 21A and 3032 Berettas more often than not. Kept clean with good ammo, these pistols perform reliably and accurately. The 32 Auto or 22LR are not thought of as major manstoppers. However, these pistols can be reliable, accurate and have enough round capacity to handle business on 2 or 3 attackers. A CCW's purpose is to drive off the attackers, not to get into a sustained gun battle. Plus I really like the newer models that have threaded barrels. Both the 21A and 3032 are fun as all get out to shoot suppressed. Any serious shooter that does not own a Beretta tip-up barrel pistol is really missing out. PS- for the last 4 months of 2023, Beretta has been offering a $150 rebate on all Tomcats and Bobcats which ends at the end of 2023 (as far as I know). That puts the final cost at $300-$350 depending on where you purchase is from. Super good deal!

These are great little guns, and the very first auto I personally ever fired. I must, however, give a cautionary tale because you mentioned pocket carry safety and that you consider this gun to be safe for it. My dad owned literally 6 of these things in 25acp, and carried one in his pocket for a couple decades with no problems. His all came from either the 1960's or early 1970's and were actually this model's predecessor, called the Bobcat if I remember correctly. Then came that one day. He was carrying his favorite one, again in his pocket, when his old truck gave him a little trouble underneath. He did what most of us would do, and crawled underneath to see if he could fix it. He was wearing jeans at the time. Somehow, the hammer snagged on the cloth of his pocket, pulling it back just enough that when it slipped free, the gun fired! He was carrying a 25acp version at the time. The bullet travelled down the front of his thigh, leaving a nice little channel carved into the muscle, before turning inward just above the knee and came to rest just against the top of the knee cap. I'll never forget his first words, "Damn, I need a bigger gun!" He crawled out from under the truck and we took him to the hospital to remove the bullet, which he carried as a good luck charm the rest of his life. I understand these are technically two different models, but they are really just different executions of the same design. If you plan on pocket carrying one, at least get yourself a good, leather, pocket holster that encloses the hammer so you don't end up with a good luck charm like my dad did. As for dad's statement about a bigger gun, he sold all 6 of his Berettas and bought a S&W 38 Spc Centennial for pocket carry instead, which he carried until he died.

@@rodneyws1977 I have a newer model of tomcat and I think a round could be set off with the safety on should the hammer not be pulled at least far enough to put it in half cock. There doesn't seem to be any safety mechanism (other than half cock) that would prevent a moving hammer from striking the firing pin without the trigger being pulled.

I carry the Taurus PT 22 now and plan to purchase the Tomcat as a step up. My hands have grown weak and can no longer rack a slide. The tip up barrel is real handy. Too bad they stopped the .380 or made a 9mm version.

I had the Tomcat back in the 90's and had so many issues Beretta bought it back from me. Got a 21A Bobcat in .25 and carried it in my vest pocket nightly . . . excellent little 'mouse' gun and it came in handy a couple times. The .32 ammo is hard to find and expensive . . . .25 is bad enough, .32 is worse. But, very small and handy little gun.

One of the best self defense firearms ever invented (Concealed Carry). 32acp is far more capable that people would believe. It was Browning himself that invented it... and also the .25ACP. These calibers were extremely popular at the beginning of the 20th century and especially up to and throughout the 50's and into the 60's. It's only since then that they became less common... but I believe they will be popular again in the coming years. People are always interested and happy to hear about the smaller guns like the Baby Browning, Bernardelli, NAA revolvers and other firearms like that... and I always hear people saying "I would carry a gun if I had one of those"... or "I would carry every day if I had one of those"... so I think they're a good way to get new people interested in concealed carry.

Honestly, mine is in my waistband this very second. I have choices and this one is especially nice lounging about the home or on property where the random chance of encounter is about .000000000001%. None the less, I still carry it out and about, sometimes also with a .32 ACP Seecamp in my pocket. I've had a few other .32s sold them, mostly older surplus guns, functional but not nearly as fun IMHO. The most fun of the .32s is easily the VZ61 Skorpion, its an absolute joy, I just wish ammo was free. I've fired mostly FMJ Fiocchi ammo, no issues and these guns are surprisingly powerful despite the smaller cartridge size. Most of the time, people are shooting guns at paper targets at a gun range, so you never really see what one of these little zippers can do. If you shot a few through a burn barrel and watched the impacts into the soft earth you wouldn't think it was so weak and puny anymore as most people believe.

I'm about to buy a Tomcat Inox as an ankle gun, and for being armed at home much like you described. I've always wanted one. I conceal a Polymer 80 PF940c (G19) as my main gun when out and about, would be nice to have a real compact gun with a company I trust with quality craftsmanship for an ankle gun. Also, I bought two Vz61 parts kits, one in .32 and the other in .22lr. I am currently 3d printing out a CZAR v2 frame for the .32 and a Vs22 frame for the .22, the final frame should be done in about 4 more hours. You should Google those frames, they're really neat looking. I can't wait for the parts kits to come in, I ordered them yesterday. I would just build a regular Vz61 pistol, but I would like to have a stock or pistol brace so I'm going with the 3d Printing option at the moment with a small folding brace. I might get another parts kit and put in for a tax stamp to SBR it so I can have it with the original configuration (minus full auto) with the overfolding wire stock, that would be sweet. I've always wanted a Vz61 since I saw one as a boy in a movie back in the 90s. Edit: now that I remember, I'm just going to buy a Tomcat parts kit and just 3d print the frame. There are so many gun models you can 3d print out there now, I mean ffs you can fully 3d print a CZ EVO3 Scorpion aside from barrel and bolt of course, and they've been tested with thousands of rounds in full auto by the designers with zero issues. Mine won't be full auto though 😢. You should get into the hobby, it's fun as hell, especially when the gun functions flawlessly, gives me a real sense of pride in my work and I cherish the gun more than I do if I were to buy it. Get an Ender 3 v2 printer, I got mine for $200 and it does beautiful prints and good strong filament is cheap as well. You can print a Glock frame for about $10 in plastic materials.

I use Fiocchi in several 32 acp guns. The bullet diameter on most US rounds, are bit too skinny to grab the rifling well, also kinda anemic. I've also found on PMC, in particular, that the rim is thinner, adding to headspace. Also, that the ramp between rim and case body is too narrow and steep. The Beretta is more an in-line feed, and that ramp issue doesn't affect it much.

I have had em in 22 lr and 25 auto but not the 32. I do own a PPK in 32 and love it. I also have two 25 autos by Browning (colt) My PPK is 32. To me? 25... 32...380 pocket guns? they will all work and are all very capable of failing to 'stop' but... they are all that gun that you actually have which is better than the one at home. On the other end is my Smith 340PD in .357 magnum. it fits in my front pocket and weighs 12 oz.. this is easy to carry. on the slide... I am not weak but tiny little blow back pistols are difficult to work the slide because you simply can't get a good grip and it is worse if you are sweaty or rain or whatever. The tip up barrel is genius

Walther PPK, Seecamp, Colt 1903, and there are some other Milsurps too. Don't even get me started on revolvers...😂😂

Is .32 enough? Watch the Ronald Reagan assassination attempt by John Hinkley. He used a snubnosee .22 revolver and took-out a Washington Police Officer, a Secret Service Agent and James Brady. The payoff with the .32 acp Tomcat is follow-up shots on target. It has almost no recall or muzzle flip. You can empty the magazing into a hand sized grouping in 2 seconds from 7 yards. It would take months of training to confidently do that with a single stack 9mm if you could achieve it at all.

Some may think it is too thick, but that makes it easier to grip as a backup pistol …it is closer in size to many full-size or compact carry pistols so you don’t have to adapt to a minuscule grip.

For those who think this is a wimpy round a fellow cop was shot w/a .32 many years ago, before vests. The round hit his leather uniform jacket chest high and stuck in the lining. It did not break the skin but did leave a huge bruise, knocking him off the police motorcycle. To say he was lucky is an understatement.

Great overview. The 3032 also has a half-cock, a safety feature in case you drop it on its hammer. For those with model 21A (22LR or 25ACP), you'll notice the Tomcat is thicker, largely due to the .32 caliber.

Wrong. The 3032 half cock is not meant for that purpose. The manual specifically says to not carry with it half cocked. If the gun is dropped in the half cock position the impact could break the hammer notch, and/or sear, causing the hammer to strike the firing pin.

I carried the Tomcat from the late 90s to the mid 2000s. Great handling and accurate shooter. The problem is no extractor if the round fails. G42 is what I carry now along with a .32 H&R mag S&W snubbie.

Of course the Beretta has an extractor. It's the little swiveling lever on the left side of the frame, in front of the grip. Push the lever. And the barrel pops up, extravting the cartridge and dropping it at your feet. 😆

With any small barrel pistol at range the bullet will tumble and keyhole the paper. My father bought the exact same 3032 (and is his carry pistol) with the same safety lever. I remember reading the owner's manual recommended Winchester Silver Tip JHP's.

Good video, thanks. I have one I carry in a DeSantis pocket holster. At 7 yards, it is challenging to get any grouping. I tried PCN 32. ACP HP and got jams and stove pipes. They were 60 gm. For the standard 71 gm FMJ, I have no issues. And the cost of ammo is expensive. I painted the front sight with two coats of fluorescent orange enamel (model) paint. Works well. I also had a case that failed to eject; removing the empty case can be hard. I found the best and quickest way to clear the spent case is by inserting a ballpoint pen down the barrel. And I have scars between my thumb and forefinger from the slide bight. I like the look and feel. I have woodgrain grips and a Nichol-colored pistol. I see that Underwood ammo may work well. I will have to try those.

I would caution that the +P version does exceed beretta’s 130 ft/lbs threshold, but the non +p is well lower and it meets the FBI requirements for a self defense round which is insane coming from a 32 ACP, that extreme defender round goes in all my handguns, it turns anemic calibers into viable self defense options

@@starkruzen if I have a full magazine loaded and I put one in the barrel then I’ll have a hung up slide when inserting the second round, if I take one round out of the magazine this alleviates this problem, it might be that my tomcat isn’t fully broken in as finding target rounds can be a bit difficult.

I carry the 22 Bobcat and it works all the time shoots accurate to 20 yards and punches through a 2x4 everytime. A lot of my 9mm and others stay at home due to size and concealability.

The first pistol I ever bought. I like the double action feature. My only problem is I have huge hands. Detailed @13:30 The slide when it comes back it will slice your hand if you don't keep your hand down below the slide. Ask me how I know. I started writing this before he stared talking about this scenario. And was surprised when he mentioned it. Great gun if you have average to small hands. Mine is double action with forward trigger until you cycle the first round, then the trigger is back farther after that.

Some people simply make the “relief cut” over the crack and have no problems going forward. The crack occurs in a thin, aluminum strip that covers the trigger mechanism. If it cracks and the relief cut is not made, the crack area can buckle up and interfere with the slide recoil action.

A Tomcat is light enough to carry for Seniors and small people. It also has a caliber that can use hollow point shells that expand on contact. Finally, you can have it loaded right off without racking the gun. It has a pop-up barrel. It is a double action gun. The trigger has a force, it at first, of 10 pounds. However, after the first shot, the trigger becomes very light. You can also pull back the hammer on the first shot. It is one of the safest guns to carry ready to fire!

This "mouse" gun It fits in my pant or coat pocket and is very concealable. With training and practice, you can choose to kill or to injure the attacker. The Tomcat effective within 20 to 30 feet, which is undoubtedly a defensive distance. The Tomcat is good for the "normal" threat encounter; however, if I were in an all out fire fight, I would want a 9mm Beretta 92.

I have a Tomcat, love the looks, but it is a problematic gun. I bought the Inox version in 2020, and the trigger return spring broke with only a few hundred rounds through it. Rather then return it to Beretta, I fixed it myself. Several months later the frame cracked at the usual place. I never used any ammo with pressure above 129, but it broke anyway. Beretta replaced it with a new gun, which I only rarely shoot. I’ve been shooting for 60 years, owned a lotta guns, and the Tomcat is the only one that ever broke, and this one broke twice. They are cool looking, but are not real robust.

I have been shooting Beretta compact and sub-compact pistols for forty years, and found them to be robust, reliable, easy and fun to shoot. I bought a couple of the 3032 Tomcats last week, an INOX and a Covert; and the Covert was screwed up from the factory. It was single-action only; the trigger did not engage with the hammer down, but you could carry it cocked and locked. Before I sent it back to Beretta, I read around online and found all the reports of issues, failures and cstastrophic frames cracking, and I'm kind of put out with Beretta for selling me these junk pistols.

I have a friend that has one that I've shot a bit. His is 100% reliable, soft shooting and accurate. You can easily hit a pop can at 15 yards with it. If you're getting bullet tumble Id return it to Beretta. This is not normal for this gun. I've been on the range many times with several people shooting the Tom Cat and have not seen the evidence of bullet tumble. When people ask "what should I buy for my wife" I suggest this gun because it's easy for them to load with the tip up barrel. the recoil is very light, it's very safe to carry and offers more power than a 22LR or 25 ACP. It makes a perfect purse gun for them. However, IMO it's just too thick in the grip for an ideal deep concealment pistol. I find a Ruger LCPII 380 to be a better choice for those who can handle the additional recoil and need a deep concealment pistol. IMO an even better option is one of the micro 9mm like my Sig P365

@@TheConcealedCarryChannel Very strange. It makes me wonder if a change was made at some point to the diameter of the bore. The bullet is so short that it doesn't take much rifling twist to stabilize it. But if the bore is oversize that could introduce tumbling. Like you said at the ranges it is to be used the tumbling isn't present and wouldn't make much difference. It would just be better if it didn't tumble. Maybe another subscriber will have some additional info on this.

I have had some dissapointing experiences with small auto pistols. Ill list them here in hope it will help someone out when it come to these. Some of my cons may very well be your pros. Walther PPK. .380 Same manual of arms as Beretta 92fs, my go to pistol for anything serious. It was not reliable with JHP ammo. Trigger was horrible. Costed $150 more than my 92FS. Sig Sauer P230SL. Got this from a guy who really wanted a PPK. So straight trade. Heel mag release, decocker on frame. Awesome if I carried a Sig P226. But I carry a Beretta. However a way better gun than the PPK. In every way. Like the PPK it wasnt particularly small. Some small single stack 9mm were starting to show up. Then I got a Colt Mustang .380. Starting to get into 1911"s at that time. What a shooter. Delayed blowback operation. Super low recoil and above average accuracy for that type of gun. Not as accurate as that 230SL, But good enough. However drawing that thing and swiping off that safety with the speed of a full size 1911 was not happening. Cocked and locked was just as slow as draw and rack a round in the chamber. Im not a fan of unloaded guns for self defense on a timeline of someone's elses choosing. Then one day my mother gets a 3032 Tomcat. She knows very little about guns. But she knows I love Beretta. Her and my dad are at the gun shop. She sees it, thinks its cute and my dad buys it for her. I get a little giddy when she shows it to me. She had no intention of carrying it. She wanted it like she would want a piece of jewelery. Later she decides to carry a gun. Iy is clear a semi auto pistol is too complicated when it comes to her gun interest level. Loading mags, two steps to load the gun and safely unload it, all that jazz. This to her is what a fire extinguisher is to us. So my dad gets her a Colt Cobra. Newer one with full underlug bull barrel. Pawn shop. $300. Shes got it to this day and loves it. Gone up in value as well. Thay 3032 Tomcat is just sitting in her droor for a few years. One day i ask about it. She forgot she had it. Never even got ammo for it. She went and got it and then just gave it to me. I bought a few nice pocket holsters for it. Front pocket and a back pocket one that resembled a wallet. At this time i already had a concealed carry gun that the previous small autos were trying be. A Sig Sauer P239 in .40S&W. Kind of big but it was reliable, powerful, and easy to reload. All the features and creature comforts of a a full size combat pistol. So i wasn't going back to .380 or .32 for that matter. But that Tomcat was going to be a backup to that Sig 239. I had nothing but problems with it unfortunately. It looked so good sitting next to my 92FS. But it malfunctioned more than it fired with all ammo types. I tried everything to. Later in I was at the gun shop my parents got it from. Owner asked how my mom liked that Tomcat. I told him the story and how it worked best with the purpose of why she had it. I never bothered to get ahold of Beretta about it either. It was purchaed NIB. It had been years. I was checking out a S&W j frame 438 bodygaurd airweight. Kind of pricey. So not seriously. A cop, and fellow gun addict, that came into work carried one as his backup gun. I asked if got one of the new glock 27's for that purpose since he carried a Glock 22 for duty. But he unzipped his shirt and had that in a holster under his vest strap. Told me he often makes contact with people with that already in his hand in his jacket pocket. Sometimes already pointed at them if things seemed sketchy. Pointed out how it will fire all 5 rounds in the pocket and will not snag when he draws it out. Then he showed me how he keeps another one on his ankle. I thought that was pretty slick. So the owner of the guns shop tells me that if i want that 638 he'll take back that Tomcat at full purchase price towards it. $500 snubbie is now a $200 snubbie. Done and won. I've never looked back. Well except for right now as im posting this. I think the small revolver is superior to these pocket autos in almost every way. Equal or better power than the .380, draw and fire, safe to pocket carry, i used a Clipdraw pocket clip on mine, and more reliable when less than ideal maintenance. Also not ammo sensitive. I ended up giving it to my ex wife when we split. She later got a m&p 9mm 2.0 and offered to give it back. Told her to keep it in case she wants to carry it and to give it to our daughter when she is old enough if she doesnt want it anymore. I carry a Walther P99AS these days. Too much out of control behavior going on these days for me to carry a single stack or 5 shot anything. But if i have the need for something pocket sized it will be a Smith J frame, Charter Arms or something of that type i go to. Also that Sig P230SL, that is seriously nice pistol and if you get the chance to have one dont pass it up. Wish i still had it. But it was sold to get the P239. Still have my 92FS of course. Got a few more of them actually of differing variants. But concealed carrying one of those even in winter sucks. Which is why I went through all this to begin with.

great deal on two firearms I like an awful lot, I own both. watch the ammo on the tomcat, keep it within the energy spec. It is a fine shooting pistol, i like the DA/SA and tip up barrel. it quickly replaced my seecamp in 32 as a regular carry pistol.

I have the Inox version. Please be sure to address the .32 ACP ammo specification with muzzle energy less then 130ft/lbs. Are you using the FPS off the box or chronographing the speed and calculating the real muzzle energy... remember out of shorter barrels your fps is sometimes quite a bit lower making your muzz le energy also less... usually the fps on a box are from a full size pistol

@@DesmoSD ive also herd people using the recommended ammo and still cracked... like i said the specs are out of a longer barrell typically 4 inch for.32.acp testing ...baretta needs to be alot more clear..for example fiocci 73 gr only travel about 850 in a short barrell 2.7 which would mean the muzzle energy is less than 120 ft lbs. Still under the "recommended " 130 ft lbs but the specs.will tell you its 160 ft lbs... thats put of a 4 or 5 inch barrell...ammo companies are known for using a longer barrel to make ther ammo look more powerfull

@@sparky_-mf2cs Completely agree and unless one has the means to test the speed, more power to them. Some owners were fortunate to have had Beretta honor their warranty while some weren’t. That Fiocchi 73 that you’ve mentioned has been known to crack frames so I wouldn’t try it or recommend it regardless of the math. I’m just passing on the information. I haven’t had any issues with PMC 71gr and will continue to use that ammo.

@@DesmoSD ive never herd the fiocci 73 crack frames. But ther is a 60 grain fiocci ( forgot exactly which one. Might be the sjhp) that is pretty hot. Has more muzzle energy than the 73 gr. That i wouldnt use in a tomcat...i feel you though if i could always find the "safe" ammo i would use it but ammo is hard to find these days so im using watever i can find 😆
