Beretta Bobcat 21A .22 Pistol Review

Shooting the Beretta Bobcat 21A .22 caliber pistol. We bought three of them. Maybe the best .22 long rifle caliber handgun ever? We don't know. We just know we love it. Using Silencer Central Banish 22 suppressor!

shot a lot of guns since i was a kid and nothing compares to a Beretta, they are the best made firearms that I have handled despite the price tag they are well worth it. Never was a fan of the mouse guns until i concealed carry in the middle of summer, now i so badly want a Bobcat or Tomcat model. I currently carry a Pico which has since been discontinued but still a damn good viable option despite the heavy trigger, mouse guns are really meant for close range. A 92/M9 has always been my home defense choice and it will be my choice if TEOTWAWKI happens. Bottom line is Beretta has been the best as far as quality despite the price tag the best damn arms manufacturer there is out there. There is a reason they have been in business for nearly 500 years.

Indeed. Beretta is top tier. We don’t own a lot of their pistols yet, but we do own their shotguns and they are top notch as well. Will most likely be acquiring an M9 next!

Very true, but I dry fire all non precision guns. Im just bad about it.

Bought mine in 2005. Only use CCI ammo. I used other branded ammo and it would jam. Took it to a shop and the proprietor told me when that gun was made it was engineered to use CCI. Even though competitor ammo looks exact as CCI you should use CCI ammo. Maybe the engineering changed but for my model it can only use CCI.

That’s really interesting. We’ve used 5 or 6 different ammo types in these, suppressed and unsuppressed, and we haven’t had an issue.

This is one of the most beautiful compact pistols ive ever seen. You cant own weapons in my country sadly. Never let your Weapon Rights get taken away !

I have some bad news. You might want to sit down. Looks like Beretta stopped making the one with the threaded barrel. Maybe even the whole lineup. I bought one this afternoon off of Gunbroker. When the news gets out they will be harder to find than a truthful politician.

From what someone else commented here apparently they discontinued this specific version. The sights are definitely weak but I mean it’s a pocket 22. 🤷 I’d have just as much fun with it with no sights.

Honestly it’s hard to tell now. Around 600$ I think, but Berretta runs a tons of rebates throughout the year.

So I have one of these I got from my dad when he passed. When I have the safety on I can still fire it. Is the safety mech worn out of is it just decocking it??

That sounds like it’s malfunctioning and you should get it to a gunsmith. Ours will not let you operate the trigger or hammer in anyway when on safety.
