I watched this first, and then I watched a bunch of the other videos Paul is in. I can safely say I wouldn't have watched them if I hadn't seen this video first. Me and Paul were, if he was still alive today, probably pretty opposed in terms of politics, ideals, and hobbies. But Paul was clearly a very kind and thoughtful person, and watching this video, and all of the others I did, makes me rethink a lot about how I approach thinking about other people. The current landscape we live in sets us all up to be Us vs. Them, and it makes you forget that behind every statement is a real person who has lived an entire life, and who, will one day not live that life anymore. It's important to put down the hatred fed to us and interact, even just talk, while we're still here. Rest in Peace, Paul
@bitKitty8 сағат бұрын
I’m really glad you said that, coz I’ve been talking about how F*d up it’s become… it’s hatred and violence on each side, instead of looking at people like a regular human being, which we all are. This is the first time I’ve seen any of Paul’s videos… peace, Paul ✌🏼✨
@Hess2037 сағат бұрын
It's sad but the current mentality in America is herd mentality due to the media, everyone's scared to say how they feel about the simplest things. Just like people sexualize simple basic acts of kindness, greetings and even loving your friends and family, media is leading in a very hard left direction, making people of all races feel racist based on non factual evidence and gaslighting and manipulation,,, censoring us and not giving fair chances to opposing sides on their platforms. The top five platforms are all owned by multi billionaire families and solo billionaires that all vote liberal when the time comes...I wonder why that is. Both sides suck end the two party system and make it a bit easier for people to get on the ballot

That's kinda stupid honestly Edit: wow I got so much hate from a simple comment. but anyway, I think it's stupid because cancer is not equal a human. The death of the cancer and a whole human being (as if it's a fight) is not a draw imo. I know about Norm and these words don't make up him as a person (and he's just making a joke here anyway, but some people view it like something that makes sense, and that's actually what I'm calling stupid here). @Erin-000Ай бұрын
@@WarrezTheWolf ♡ Some people eventually can or already have been able to process death or _non-existence_ and don't feel so terrified by it. Others, may have convinced themselves they have, but they may find themselves unprepared when it comes. I used to find death to be, similarly, intimidating and tragic. My eventual death and the death of others I love. It felt like this huge looming thing, abrupt and inevitable. But as I've gotten older, it just doesn't feel as scary anymore. It feels paradoxically beautiful. Still to be respcted but not feared. Maybe it's just part of getting older... or maybe I'm in for a rude awakening lol.
@Erin-000Ай бұрын
And as bonus words, _aka quotes I've heard before but stole straight from Google..._ A beautiful death is an ending that leaves room for celebrating a life well-lived "I have now decided that my death should be very precious. I really want to use it. I'd like my death to be as interesting as my life has been, and will be" - David Bowie Appreciation for life Embracing death can help people appreciate life more fully, and to live more fully in the present. The cycles of nature, such as the changing seasons and the decay of leaves, can be seen as beautiful.
