I was all sold on this thing until just now. I didn't like the fact that the savage impulse had ball bearing holding it in place i.e., round verses 90 degree bolt lock of the Beretta. I have watched a lot of videos comparing the two and how they locked up. It wasn't until I saw that bolt come back after the shot that I had any doubts about the Beretta. I'm a left hander so you can see how this rifle would appeal to me. Looks like I will have to look at another Tikka. At least they have lefty bolts for the 6.5 I'm looking at. Thanks for the info and keep doing what your doing.

I got it since 2 years ago in 300wm, never put down so many animals hunting than with this rifle! Mine make sub moa groups with my handload ammo! And i use it beetwen 100yd to 700yd for the moment! And planning upgrade that distance in hunting! That’s my opinion about my love brx1

An rifle developped for european hunting. European market, specificly French market is geared towards linear bolt actions. Its direct competitor is the Browning Maral and it wants to challenge the Merkel, Blaser, Chapuis rols... Weapons more suited to driven hunting, and also with a rapid action, allowing more than 3 shots to be fired quickly and taking advantage of the law

I am interested in this rifle. What i would like to see is beretta make more calibers that i can swap in and out. For example being able to buy a kit that includes barrels for the whole 308 win family

The reason the action opened slightly after the shot is to help release pressure in the chamber.

Este Beretta está pensado para cazar en Europa,no a rececho si no en batidas con animales a toda velocidad y en terrenos de montaña complicados.Es lógico qué no encaje bien en el mercado norteamericano,eso sí os aseguro que es rapidísimo en los disparos y con una relación calidad/precio muy interesante.Saludos desde España!!!!!.

I like the rifle & features except they need to change the rear of the bolt as everybody is saying it's to close to their cheek on cycling. People need to make comparisons to other Straight pulls on pricing imo.
