God bless people like you who take the time to demonstrate stuff like this. This is what KZbin was made for, not some of the cult of celebrity content and makeup tutorials that plague this once godlike platform.

Excellent tutorial! I would have put the slide catch release back in sooner to hold the trigger pin in so you don't have to constantly keep your finger there while you do other things like move the new trigger spring down into position or fiddle with the hammer spring and hammer. Also, while most people will probably also do a new hammer spring and skeletonized hammer with the trigger update, if not, removing the hammer and hammer spring are not necessary to complete the trigger replacement Since I'll be doing both, your tutorial works for what I'm going to be doing soon.

Did I miss something? I didn’t notice that you changed the hammer...so in that case, you don’t actually need to remove the hammer or the hammer spring as part of this work. Great detail throughout. As an FYI, the Wilson Combat (Wolff) replacement trigger spring may need some filing to fit...so I opted to stick to my original trigger spring (which can be tricky to re-seat for which I made a slave pin out of a Q-tip’s wooden stick). I replaced my trigger with a steel trigger, though...better feel and not as “crunchy” as the polymer factory trigger. In general, when replacing triggers or aligning anything from parts to spring coils, don’t be afraid to use punches and slave pins to hold things in place when you’re seating trigger pins and etc. Cut my teeth on working with CZ...Beretta are easy by comparison.

I appreciate you doing this video but please try to add more lighting so the parts aren’t lost in the shadows as you highlight their removal and replacement.

i dont think you need to remove the hammer, just slide lock and trigger bar and pin.

On mine, I had to take a little off the front side of the front pin to make mine cycle properly

So the separate video for the hammer spring is a little unnecessary. You could have just explained it
