Bergara is coming along nicely 👌 😀 👍 I know most people have feeding and extraction issues when they put the Bergara in a different chassis 😮😢 I don't shoot PRS, so I don't know how important it would be to change it. I have just seen all the work and messing with stuff and the frustration these guys have had switching them. I, myself, will never change it, haha. But if you decide to, I hope you have great luck with it!!! 😊 Thanks for the update man!

Appreciate the kind words! I've heard a lot of the same issues when it comes to the b14r in aftermarket chassis, but still, I can't help but wonder.... 🙃

@@Shoot_More haha I totally get that, I myself have seen some I would like also. Maybe if I did it for competition, I might try and work through the frustration 😅😂

Great content mate, i notice you grip the tripod with you entire hand, may i suggest trying thumb and pointer finger gripping the butt and other 3 fingers wrap the tripod. Your pointer finger gives a soft contact to the tripod and allows fine adjustment with out the need to move the tripod. Hope this helps Cheers

@@timbcf Appreciate you taking the time to watch, and that’s great tip! I’ll be at the range again this weekend and will give that a try. Seems like it will work nicely. Thank you!

Nice video. I had the B14R carbon for about 2 years. It is the most accurate rifle I have ever owned. Perfect scores on ARA targets at 50 yards became the norm after a 1000 rounds. But, alas it wasn't for me. To heavy and the bolt action never became smooth enough to make me happy. Adjustable trigger pull was great as was butt spacers. However, never got it to shoot accurately with a suppressor. Could have been a lot of reasons for that but never took the time to find out why.

Where did u find that extended barrel piece? I too is trying to balance my b14r. I did the same with a area419 rail except i melted lead in the grooves and channels. Also added lead shot into the front end of chassis. This helped but i need more without drill weights into the chassis.

I got it from Midway USA, though they can be found other places. Chasing balance on the factory chassis sure is tough! www.midwayusa.com/product/1025132044?pid=414431

I agree with the balancing of the rifle. I’ll be looking at doing this as time goes. Does adding the weights into your stock qualify for PRS/ NRL rules? I heard this topic in another video and there was someone saying the rules didn’t allow it?

For PRS, I don't think you can add weight to a factory rifle chassis if you are competing in production class. I've always competed in the open class due to the combined MSRP of my scope and rifle being over $1600, so I didn't have to worry about that rule. Not sure for NRL...
