Thanks Peter for the informative review. Your 080 looks like French Made, I got a set of the same style though.

Thanks for the video, I'm surprised you got a bunch of spare blades. So you never taught how to sharpen the blades instead of replacing them? EDIT sorry, I watched the full video and I saw you sharpen your blades.

Lol. Guessing by the analytics most people don’t watch full videos on KZbin. Glad you did. Have a great day.

4:41 Excellent review. Thank you. I just wanted to ask if you think the Bergeon sharpening tool is any good? I do not know what it is called, but it is made of metal, has two wheels and screwdriver is locked into the centre and then pushed and pulled along sharpening stone. I was going to purchase one online, but then found my late father already had one in his toolbox, so I kept it. But not had the opportunity to test and use as yet.

Snap!!! As a retired camera repairs engineer ,I too have the same set. It too has lasted me over 20 years but now I am finding it difficult to find replacement blades. Any suggestions? Thank you for the very interesting video even if I discovered it quite a while after...Well done!

Esslinger.com They have the best blades and are the strongest I've been able to get from any supplier. Don't cheap out, as I did once. Nothing worse then bending a blade while you're working on something... Been there, done that!

Do any of your screw blades flex just by minimal touch pressure? ie do the thinest blades/tips in your set bend at all?
@watchesandjewelry4 жыл бұрын
Depending on how much pressure. The two smaller screwdriver blades can bend or snap.

@@watchesandjewelry Thanks for the quick reply. I received a small set today and the 0.5 and 0.6 in particular seem quite susceptible to breakage, bending or twisting. I would be very apprehensive about changing or unscrewing a tight screw with these tiny size blade screwdrivers.

Once you have the drivers. If they seem flimsy I would buy a set of burgeon blades in that size. You can get them as Esslinger.com

I don't want to buy a whole kit. What size screwdriver does one use to remove the tiny screw holding the battery clip. Kors Watch 371 Battery.

You can use an eyeglass repair kit from cvs if u just want one small screw driver for that.

@@watchesandjewelry I already have an eyeglass screwdriver and it's too big.
