Always love to hear more about this breed. I have been admiring them from afar since I was introduced to them at a local dog show. They are so rare in the U.S. having only recently gained AKC recognition. I hope the breed develops and more breeders come online delivering healthy quality additions to the breed here. I hope you will do some more videos of Luke. Most of the stuff on KZbin on Picard's is old and I have seen multiple times. Thanks

They are rare like in france (not in difficult but 200-300-500 when you have 10 000 husky or australian born each years... )

My Picard is just as aloof. Training is hard, but they are so amazing and lovable.

Thanks for this video! I've been enamored with the breed since I saw 'Because of Winn Dixie' as a child, but I have found very little information about them online (from an owner's perspective, at least!) This definitely answers some questions I had. And he's beautiful :)

This is a good video, they are in my opinion the ultimate family dog... I'm curious to see how their popularity grows over the years. p.s Just don't pronounce it the "American" way. Might as well have said the "ignorant" way. I imagine that was an April fools joke lol ;)
