What golden generation? What have they done to justify the title? Playing in Europe will help develop these players, but apart from one or two most aren’t regular starters for their teams. A better more experienced foreign coach would definitely help maximise what you have though. Ideally you need someone who’s managed at international level and tournament football which is generally a lot more pragmatic than club football.

Center defense is a worry. TBH, this group plays attractive front footed football. But Pulisic and Balogun were only ones fighting hard. That's a problem.

IF Berhaleter stays, then I will not watch any of their games on tv, buy merch, or care. I would not be alone in this, and I hope US Soccer takes that into consideration before keeping GGG.
