I’ve had Desser 27.5 tundra tires for 5 years. I just add up the landing and was surprised to come up with 1012. They don’t show much wear looking at the dimples. I run them tubeless at 5 psi but I have let them get down to 3.5 psi. Admittedly 10 percent or less is hard surface. Lots of off airport and hard braking with dual calipers. The tires have moved on the rims a little but I have never broken a bead. I like them.

@@jeremykemp3782 I’ve had Marco wheels and brakes for about 7 years now. We’ll over 1000 landings, mostly off airport and hard breaking with dual wheel cylinders/pucks. Never had a problem.

I’ve been running the 27.5 with Grove G-8 wheels/brakes for a couple years. Love ‘em! I run mine around 6psi.

I run the 31" Dessers no problem at 2.5 psi on a kitfox 4.

Important not to use any tire soap or grease on the bead!! Use a bead blaster set at about 50 psi

That looks like a KTM muffler from an 1190 Adventure. I had that bike and saved about 6lbs but swapping it out for a Wings muffler. I think the Acropovic is similar. Just a thought.

Hey Bryan, covering your gear legs will get you back 5-10 mph. When I went to uncovered legs and TK shocks on my Highlander, I lost over 10 mph In Cruise and top end. Love the shocks though. Won’t ever use bungees again.

Always enjoy your videos! Even though I'm rebuilding and upgrading a totally different type of aircraft, I have learned a few things by watching your videos. Yes, they are not as soft a rubber as the Bush wheels.
