The 70ft is a lovely yacht, superbly built. But it has not the range of other models. So I put it as more of a coastal cruiser than a trans-ocean cruiser.

What a great life. Love the design. Clean lines and smooth ride. I like the fuel burn. I want a work boat for Arctic waters of this size and type. Low fuel burn with hybrid systems, DP, drone box, gantry, and great 360 views. What do you think of the Arksen, XPM, Circa 24, and LRC builds out of Aluminum. Your 70 is a contender in my book. Dear Carl, thank you for your inquiry. We will make a general comment on the material - steel hulls have higher hardness and strength than aluminum ones. From a safety standpoint, it would be advisable to use steel for Arctic trips. Regarding your task set, B70 might not be a good fit. You could take a look at B80 and higher. These models can be enhanced with an ice belt, which will further improve your safety. We will be glad to discuss with you the details by phone or via email but let us know please which region you are from for the correct contact from our side. Also, this week we are releasing a new Bering Exclusive video on steel and the differences between boat-building materials; hope you find it interesting.

Beautiful boat. Camera footage was terrible. Never film at night without proper back lighting. And never film during the day in the shadows or anything but nature in a setting sun condition. Love your boats.
