Berkeley Art Museum and Pacific Film Archive - Diller Scofidio + Renfro

The Berkeley Art Museum and Pacific Film Archive relocated to an adaptive reuse of an art deco printing plant designed by Diller Scofidio + Renfro in 2016.
The existing sawtooth roof lets light into the gallery spaces. A new curvilinear volume includes two theaters a cafe and a study center. The new volume has a screen facing the street for showing films and advertising exhibit.
