I am a mechanical engineering student, and I have interest for car design. It's nice seeing a mechanical engineer who did the same I learnt animations online, just as a skill, I can use as a side hustle

Maaan, they described all my way in design, awesome video. In 2019 i graduated bachelor in mechanical engineering and started working as an engineer. At the same time i always wanted to design my own car, so i started watching the video about haw to sketch, modeling in blender, making my own projects in parallel with study and work. After several years i received an offer to become a designer. So from 2021 i have the same moment with over engineering in my sketches, tried to find a balance between engineering and design. So now i'm head of design department on tractor plant, have have completed tractor projects. And who knows, maybe sooner or later the time will come to introduce my own car, as i dream. Honestly, I never regretted that I graduated mechanical engineering, only haw a benefit from this.

Hello, got a question about the masters. How was the process of applying for the masters in the design field, did they ask you for design portfolio or a project portfolio and did you have to do extra things since your switching fields?

Amazing video, really nice to see ppl who were in the same position as I’m right now ❤️‍🔥 l’m studying automotive engineering and was thinking of doing a masters in automotive/transportation design but thanks to this video might start to think of doing another bachelor in car design.
