Now this is what I mean when I say true musianship, essence, class, style, and with professionalism when performing live and I commend the old skool divas like Nina Simone, Dinah Washington, Sarah Vaughn, on up to Gladys Knight, Deniece Williams and Jill Scott. My God thee are array of our black and beautiful divas in the music whom I always pay homage to because they paved the way for other upcoming female artists and they stayed true to themselves when it came to songwriting uptempo slow jam, jazz dosco and the lyrics were clean, sensual sexy, meaningful, heart felt and relating. Not like some of the music today no substance, meaning, enthusiasm, too raunchy. And to each their own what some people listen to.
