What Nikki says here is the same thing that Carol Kaye is talking about... She said that playing the bass always was considered to be something (very) male... she is one of the most successful bass players ever and she said "If you hear someone with balls... that's me!" What a musician!

I played in my high school jazz band with this chick. HEY NIKKI ! IF YOU SEE THIS, ITS THE POTHEAD GUITARIST THAT WAS ALWAYS LATE TO EVERYTHING ! I NEEDED YOU BEHIND THE KIT AT ALL TIMES !
