BERLIN | 10 FREE Things To See And Do

In this video we head to Berlin. There is a lot to see and do in Berlin and we highlight some of the FREE things to see and do. Traveling doesn't have to be expensive so don't let that stop you. Some of the places we visit are the Brandenburg Gate, Topography of Terror Museum, Tier Garten, Victory Column, Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church, Checkpoint Charlie, Memorial of the Murdered Jews of Europe, Memorial to the 10 May 1933 Nazi Book Burning, Tempelhof Airport, and The Eastside Gallery.

Great page and excellent video. I was stationed with the army in the Berlin brigade from 89-93. Memorable experience to say the least. Arrived in Berlin a week before the wall. 5 months out of high school wondering what I got myself into. My best assignment in 23 army years. Love Germany. Would love to meet you sometime.

Tempelhof airport: You can book tours of the airport in German or English and the Tower is now open for visits too; no need to book in advance, just tun up and pay (card only, no cash). Head for Paradestrasse U-bahn station and it's signposted from there; I did this in April 2024 on my 4th attempt; 3 previous disappointments in the course of about a year, due to the weather and technical problems but it was worth it

Very nice. You got your history together 👍 1984 The 21st Replacement Frankfurt Rhine-Main took my job then sent me to Berlin Brigade.(very first duty station) I arrived then Commander said due to error you have to go back to Frankfurt. BERLIN is not taking new soldiers right now. I was mad as I rode train back to Frankfurt. I was then sent to Kaiserslautern ( K- Town ) I just kept my E2 mouth shut..lol. I later visited Berlin then visited city after city and every major German city. Loved it 👍👍 We love you and your family's videos. Great job.

That's similar to how we were first sent to Hohenfel then rerouted to Grafenwohr. I think anywhere in Germany can be a great experience! Thanks for watching.

There was an accident a few days ago. A car drove with high speed against the gate and the driver died. Maybe they repair the damage of that there.

Sunday flea market at Arkonaplatz, Alexanderplatz, Volkspark Friedrichshain, Treptower Park and the Soviet Memorial there.
