They lost two world wars while being the main character they are simply puppets of America right now but if you look at the history, Germans simply are the greatest people in history alongside with Greeks. They carried the society and technology what did others do? Ottomans (Im Turk) didn't do any development, they used Byzantine empiree's technology and system. Evenwhen you look at the buildings you can see how much Ottomans used Byzantine. Arabs did a lot for technology for just over 50 years and then they didn't do anything, Chinese did carry technology for a long time but they simply didn't have any development for modern technology. Indians again did little to none for modern technology. Native Americans didn't even know how to ride a horse before Europeans taught them how to. Turks found how to tame animals and that was a huge development for humanity but against they didn't do anything for modern technology and science. So if you ask me, Germans are No1 contributor to the modern technology and science simple as that. Doesnt mean they are not failed society right now, but who is not a failed society right now? Saudis? I don't think so I would say maybe Japanese, but nobody is perfect.
