Not sure about Germany but this was a 100% accurate depiction of service I received everywhere in Austria - restaurants, cafes, museums, event venues - people running businesses are just so aggressive, condescending and rude - even in high end places around Vienna and Salzburg. I remember the service I received in the Belvedere museum - absolutely unacceptable and no visitors were all actually quite polite with the staff but their simple ground staff was treating everyone like dogs. They just need to spend a week in Melbourne Australia where I live to experience how the service industry is managed and what customer experience should actually be like.

I had the opposite reaction to this video, lol 😅 I really liked Berlin when I visited it shortly more than 10 years ago, but I didn't go to any clubs/bars or even restaurants really. I was underage and visited with my family. I think we mostly ate at fast food places and I remember the burger king burgers were so horrible. But I really liked how kind everyone was and the roads in Germany were so much better than in France. The traffic culture in Paris was horrible, they drive like maniacs in there and even though my father is a good and experienced driver, we almost were in several accidents during only 3 day visit. And the way people park in there, just insane 😂😂😂 Also the amount of immigrants who want to either steal something from you or sell something to you, was too much for me. I really like the architecture in Paris and of course many of the 'touristy' places, but unfortunately the scammers ruined a lot of that for me and I do not know if I ever want to go back there.

@@dreamervanroom I've been to Berlin twice (I'm German btw) and I've had super nice people serve me, but I've also met extremely unfriendly locals when I asked for the way to the metro entrance once (because there was construction and the sign was really hard to see, I'm usually good with directions but was really lost at that moment). Also supermarkets, I hear the ones in Berlin have among the most unfriendliest cashiers. I have been a cashier in a German supermarket before, so I know how stressful it can be and how awful customers can be, but apparently according to other people the ones in Berlin are unfriendly even to other German's standards? I think this might be just partly how foreigners perceive Germans in general, we don't really do the smalltalk-y ove exaggerated customer niceties other countries do, here you get an hello and goodbye and if you're lucky a smile accompanies it and I think this is already considered rude for other nations, but for German's that's professional neutrality.
