Wow I am 49 now and this Maverick took me back to 1980' when I was in my teens . Loved old one growing up copying Tom and his Ray bans . Now just came out of cinema watched Maverick blown me away , the cast , the cinematography, music , dialogues , production was just epic . Jennifer still looks so stunning one of my favorite actresses. Tom being legend due to his versatile talent in Cinema creating so many different scripts and roles . @@JakeMcClake2 I think it's more about how you buy the conviction actor is putting into either his dialogues/silences. That's VERY much the job of an actor and mark of good acting. For example Cruise naturally has a really sad melancholic face in this movie. Regrets, and responsibilities show up VERY naturally on his face and eyes without him ever trying TOO hard.

Top Gun II was so good I don't want to make it like the 1986 song track was so good and the sequel music bad...but 1st movie came up with one of the top songtracks of all time and 3 monster singles that have NEVER gone out of airplay in 36 years.
